In this country we don't get to the root of the matter. Everyone just talks according to their level of reasoning. The question I was expecting some of us to ask is where should they have parked. Do they have a place to park and they refused to park there cos they prefer parking on the road? If the govt have made provisions for parking of large trucks, let them be punished according to law. If the govt have failed to make necessary provisions of parking for them, they should just keep quiet abeg. Only in this country govt will issue road worthiness cert on unworthy roads. |

The way I see this is that, these tanker drivers and petroleum marketers are looking for escuse to cause chaos in this festive period. Should d Govt scold them now, they will have escuse to strike thereby, causing scarcity of petrol and automatic increase in transportation fares, and spur people to abuse and rain cause on President. But in Generality, we are doing ourselves o. |

lexy2014:Why do you think the govt is reluctant, why do think they have the guts to park. For instance, danfo driver will disobey traffic rule and pass one way in front of lastma officials. Those officials just simply look away but will impound your vehicle if you commit and offense. Stay woke bro |

zeestone99:D gentleman I responded to said: "The truck drivers normally pay before they are allowed to park their trucks on the road." And I asked him: "where have u seen this happen"? U decided to answer d question 4 him but everything u have said hasn't answered d question |

lexy2014:This might be coming too late, I just saw your message today. To answer your question, I live in surulere and I do drive through custain, breweries and ijora alot. So this is what I've seen and also heard alot of people complaining about. I even know someone who has two trucks which he uses in supplying petrol and I've also confirmed this from him too. If you want to find out, just start your investigation from breweries under the bridge close to custain, then move forward to the bridge that leads to orile, Eric Moore road, then move forward to ijora, and also move forward to the top of APAPA BRIDGE (Just go to the that spot where there is a exit for people going to marine beach) you will see them at each of those spots collecting money from the drivers and allowing them to park. At each of these spots, there are always police officers, lastma, FRSC and even army men aswell. There are other places too that leads to apapa where such is happening as well but you just wont believe until you see it with your own eyes |
