Former France and Arsenal Midfider Mathieu Flamini is the World's wealthiest footballers based on the corporate valuation of his company - GF Biochem (estimates range from $500m to $14bn) with Ronaldo - $450m in second, Beckham - $450m in third and Messi- $400m coming in fourth. According to Forbes, Flamini's net worth is $14bn. He is the co-owner of GF Biochem, a company that produces Levulinic Acid, a potential a substitute for petrol. In 2017, GFBiochemicals announced that it will build a cellulosic biorefinery in the US, in partnership with biotech company American Process. Flamini signed a professional contract for English club Arsenal in July 2004, rejecting Marseille's long-term senior contract offer to which he had already verbally agreed.
