Former Barcelona star Ronaldinho has given his thought on who the Greatest player of all time is and it won’t go down well with many Blaugrana faithfuls. Ronaldinho spent five seasons at the Camp Nou where he won the FIFA World Player of the Year as well as the Ballon d’Or among other top individual honors. The 39 year-old was also teammates with six-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi and has rated the Argentine as the best player of his era, but not the greatest of all time. Speaking with Spanish media outlet, Marca, per football-italia.net, the 2002 FIFA World Cup winner said, “I’m glad Messi won the Ballon d’Or. “We were also friends during our time at Barcelona. “But I don’t like to compare, and I find it difficult to say he is the best of all time.” The former Brazil international named three players whom he rated above the Barcelona captain in the GOAT debate. “There were [Diego] Maradona, Pele, Ronaldo… it’s hard to say that Messi is the best throughout the history of football. We won't argue the fact that Maradona,pele and Ronaldo de zima are great players ........ But when we talk about a players who possesses all the qualities of soccer, A COMPLETE PLAYER...........we can't deny the fact it's LIONEL ANDREAS MESSI...... When a player who is meant to be a goal scorer start wining award's meant for midfielders...(PLAYMAKER AWARD)4x then you realise it is no more ordinary....... A player who picks the ball from midfield....beat 4 to 5 players ......He either create chances,assist,pass,playmake or score. He pases like no other Dribble like no tomorrow He is a PLAYMAKER He assists He scores scintillating and magnificent goals and has more golden boot(6) than one acclaimed goal Machine(4) who mostly depends on tapin and pelnaty to score........ It really baffles me when people say CR7 is better than Messi.... Someone who score only goals....... They all won the World Cup for their countries almost single-handedly. I totally agree with his list, then perhaps Zidane follows... Best of his era....that's undisputed. |

Well, technically, he believes that Messi is better than Ronaldo... for him to be the best in his era. Ronaldo belongs to this era too. |
