Even if they want to take over ,aren't they suppose to allow the company to run so that the staff can continue their works. They should change the management structure ..

Just to put this out here. Sun Newspapers (or the company which owns the brand, except where it is owned by Slok Limited) never stood trial and was never convicted, so it is wrong for EFCC to proceed against it and its property. EFCC knows this but they are being mischievous. Don't fight corruption with impunity. You lose the moral and ethical high ground.

“We wish to reiterate that The Sun Publishing Limited is an ongoing corporate limited liability company and its shares are owned by various individuals distinct from Senator Orji Uzor Kalu. Therefore, the recent Judgment against Senator Orji Uzor Kalu should not be used to disturb the operations of the company and the proprietary rights of its innocent shareholders until the matters are dispensed with at the Supreme Court.
Are you saying the EFCC should suspend the execution of Federal High Court Judgement pending the out come of the Appeal Court judgement ?

After using Kalu to get massive votes from South East....
5% vote is massive. Well, Kano, Kaduna, Kebbi, Katsina a.k.a. The Kardasians gave Buhari over one million votes each. Please tell me which Biafran State gave Buhari up to 200,000 votes.

Beside that, should someone who stole the State's money be allowed to enjoy the stolen loot just because he is Buhari's friend?
Re: Management Of Sun Newspaper Reacts, As EFCC Storms Its Office With Armed Men by RentedReality(m): 7:48pm On Dec 14, 2019
If the case is still in court, and notice duly served EFCC, then it is reasonable to expect that The Sun newspaper be left alone for now as held by law

However, if it is unreasonable to expect the above, then it can be assumed the system runs in conflict with reason

Please When was SUN Newspaper established...?
The Daily Sun was incorporated on March 29, 2001. It started production as a weekly on January 18, 2003, and as a daily on June 16, 2003.
Kalu was elected as the Governor of Abia State on People's Democratic Party on May 29, 1999

He stole the state money to Establish The Sun and New Telegraph newspapers

If the Sun Newspaper is a separate entity and not a party to the case against Mr. Kalu, then EFCC has no right to seal off the premises of the company. But for arguendo, even if the newspaper is not a separate entity, it would be illegal and an affront to justice if Mr. Kalu has an appeal that's pending. Normally, when a judgment is pronounced by the court, the judgment is not carried out immediately especially when personal property and assets are involved. The defendant has 30 days to file a notice of appeal. Once an appeal is filed, there's no movement from either side (Plaintiff v. Defendant). The status quo remains until either the appeal is denied, heard or a ruling is given by an Appeals Court. But this is Nigeria where the rule of law is not respected and totally discarded.

Is there no other way for EFFC to announce their taking over of a building asides defacing the wall with that irritating paint scribbling of theirs?

I also don't understand the rationale behind EFCC shutting down these businesses whenever the owner is convicted. Just replace the corrupt and convicted owner of the business with a government entity e.g Amcon then transfer the profits into government pocket instead of shutting down the business completely and making hundreds or thousands of people lose their job.

Buhari's junta is quick to 'obey' any court order it likes, or that suits its purposes, but conveniently ignores court orders it doesn't like (e.g. Sowore). Is this not a joke?

Sun newspaper was not a joiner in the suit
Slok is.
OUK maybe a shareholder
Doesnt mean he owns sun
Unless they can prove Sun is solely owned by him
Which is not possible

After using Kalu to get massive votes from South East....
Every rational Nigeria wants the institutions of government to be free from the influence of the executive...that's called strong institutions

Kalu, as some of us from the east know him, is fantastically corrupt.

If every corrupt APC official was being prosecuted even while Buhari watched on the sidelines, observers would take his anti-corruption campaign more seriously

The only problem I have is that the EFCC Act ought to be amended in a way that money looted from a state be returned to the origin, but not in possession of the agency or central bank
