The woman made a mistake of being too friendly which led to a sense of entitlement
and when she withdrew her friendliness due to incessant harassment, they went berserk and plotted to deal with her.

What pained me most are those who blamed the husband for the wife's death because he survived
the attack. Even when they don't have the full story.

Though I'm not in any position to judge based on the account of this suspect, but one thing I can relate with in this gory event is that sense of entitlement Nigerians developed towards you once you give them too much space into your life. I've also been a victim to this. And it would get to a point that it becomes so hard to get rid of these people without making enemies for yourself.

One point here is that the man doesn't have a house security guard.
That you live in an estate in this country doesn't mean you shouldn't employ a private security.
It's too dangerous.
Second point is that why should the Dead wife even open the door for anyone at night?.
It's suspicious. It's too dangerous for a country like Nigeria pls....even if you live in Banana island!

Just because you don’t know that some artisans are placed on payrolls doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen or exist. I know a couple!

But aspects of the narrative provided by the assailants are clearly bogus. For instance, I'm not sure it is the couple's responsibility to pay the fool's salary as the estate electrician. That is the responsibility of the facility management department of the estate. The estate employed you, not the couple, so they have no business with you..

What I can deduce is that the idiot must have been begging them for money with a sense of entitlement, as many disgusting Nigerians do. If they see a fairly well to do person, you expect such a person automatically owes you 'help' or freebies. Why?
