Sub9ja Scammed Me And Sold To Me A Faulty Iphone X. by teemie(m): 6:01pm On Dec 15, 2019
I bought an iPhone X from sub9ja some days back and sent it to a customer earlier last week, the man picked the phone yesterday and he immediately noticed the Face ID was not working and brought it to my notice then I convince him to calm down first before I could call sub9ja, the guy called me that evening again, crying that the phone just turned off and refused to on again, I immediately called sub9ja but started saying nonsense and putting the blame on my picker, that my picker changed the phone, that his phone isn’t faulty, I showed him a picture of the current phone and the one he initially posted for sale, its the same. So obviously he’s just trying to be smart. Now the guy had to take the phone to his neighbor that fix phones, the phone is on now. But the issue is now the Face ID, the customer is now disputing that he can’t accept such phone with faulty Face ID after paying for a perfectly working phone, as earlier claimed by sub9ja.
I confronted sub9ja about the Face ID issue, first he claimed it was working before he sold the phone, but when I insisted and kept pressuring him, he said he doesn’t know if it works or not, that he doesn’t use Face ID. This is so ridiculous.. @sub9ja pls you have to come here now let’s find a solution, or you would have to refund some of the money paid.

should'nt he have said so, like indicated in the post the problem of the phone, i asked him many times is the phone is having any issues, he said no! that its just the crack at the back. if he was sincere he would have indicated in the post. theres no justification here. forget the price bros. this is business, its pissible to get clean iphone x for that amount. 120k na big money, no be small money.

I really don't like it when people try to use technicalities to escape liability , I've read the ad and if the buyer and very certain he did though I wouldn't try to assume asks " if the phone has any other issues " ( other than the crack ) . If his reply ( sub9ja) is negative then surely he has lied and has deceptively misled the buyer. The sub9ja guy should state his case and better still profer a mutually beneficial solution

i asked him on the post the condition of the phone, he did'nt reply, others did too. i had to call him to ask questions, he told me its perfectly working with no fault, that he's only selling cheap cause he wants to upgrade to iphone 11. then i thought, oh well! since he's upgrading then there should'nt be an issue. so i asked him, its not like i did'nt ask, its impossible for me not to ask, i cant skip that part, when no be today, i started buying things here..

It nauseates me that some guys are saying OP is at fault for wanting face ID to work on a "factory unlocked" iPhone X he bought for 120k.

I say he deserves to enjoy EXACTLY what he had paid for.

If a Ferrari got sold to me for ₦5, rather than its original price, and the buyer said the only problem it had was a broken windshield, I would expect to get a Ferrari with only a broken windshield and not one with a faulty carburator to complement the advertised problem.

Y'all be screaming how politicians sing their manifestos and end up doing directly opposite things, but we often ignore little things like this.

Shame on you, hypocrites!

not necessarily the screen waAs changed. I woke up one morning to find my iPhone in a disabled mode. I took it to Ikeja and they restored the os(it was iOS 12 before then became iOS 13). After setting up the phone, my fingerprint scanner that was working perfectly before isn’t working till today. I guess if I can downgrade the os then update on my phone to iOS 13, the fingerprint will work again(not sure tho)
