Hmmm ... with this instance of job insecurity in the institution, what would you advise someone who has his personal business and is earning more than what the bank pays its contract staff (even GT) but would like to accept the offer for the sake of acquiring industrial experience?

Well, if you can combine both working and doing business, then its okay to take the offer.

I did mine in Lagos, wrote Benin as preferred job location but I haven't gotten any feedback from them since then.
