Get a REPUTABLE shop to do an inspection on the car. It will cost you 3-10k depending on the shop. They should check suspension, engine, fluids, run a code scanner to see if anything has been wiped, etc

Good day my people! I need help concerning how to go about fixing the following issues on a Nissan Almera manual car as seen on an obd scanner.
1. O2 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1
2. O2 sensor heater circuit bank 1 sensor 2
3. Crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction A

The car is leaking around the front driver's seat. The engine hisses and makes loud sound. Often when driving, the rpm suddenly drops to zero and the speed then drops shutting out the engine. It doesn't start until after about 10-20 minutes later and repeats after driving for a while. Please what can I do? Check engine light has been fried

No warnings lights showing at all.

Weird thing happened though. There was a warning light with the ABS breaks but when I parked switched the engine and returned to the car, it didn't return and hasn't returned since.

As I mentioned earlier, try to contact Oluwaseunla. He'll run a comprehensive test on all the modules in the car. Meanwhile, how's your CVT fluid level?

Good evening gentlemen.

I'm caught between a tough decision: the G35 or G37?

Please advice on which to purchase.

Kindly consider maintenance as a top factor.

Thank you.

07/08 G35. Cheaper to maintain, pretty much same design.

The VQ37 has a galley gasket defect, but the VQ35HR is bullet proof. Also the 5-speed tranny shifts faster than the 7spd, and is cheaper. Engine is also cheaper.

All you lose is 20 HP.

My brother, been a while.
I've been in the market for the G35 but haven't been pleased with the ones I've seen so far.
Negotiated with a dealer on on yesterday and he refused to go lower.
So, went to 2 other dealers and found one with an 09 G37 and is willing to go lower.
Told hims I'd come pay on Friday and I'm hoping the G35 guy will come lower.

So, that's why I'm considering the G37 now.

Help... 2004 Nissan pathfinder. Cranks slowly, but doesn't start. No spark too. Has about 119k miles.
My dad got car Nigerian-used. Initially, car jerks when accelerating. Also, won't rev past 2500 rpms. Had mechanic change the oil and air filter prior to embarking on trip from Lagos to Warri with the car.
Car suffered overheating along the way, to the point of stalling. Driver said his footwell was abnormally warm while coming with the vehicle, but he did not pay much attention to it. Car cranks, but refused to start again. Even when it managed to start next day, it'll die again. Scanned for codes, and got P0102, P1131 & P0113. Eventually, changed head gasket. And some hard stuffs like coal were also found blocking the exhaust system, and were removed too. Finally, he started the journey again after some days. But noticed that the car still overheats, so he stops at intervals to let her cool off. Now, he didn't have much time to charge battery and all, so he had to embark on this second lap trip with a low battery. Such that whenever he had to stop the vehicle, he would require to get another battery just to be able to start the car. Even heard at one stop, there was no battery available, so he had to start vehicle using a trailer (heavy duty) battery. Along the way, he decided to change and permanent the radiator fan. After which, according to him, overheating stopped Around Benin, he kinda fell violently into a pothole, and the car went off. And since then, it has refused to start again with whatever battery. Had to be towed from Benin to Warri.
Present state is, it cranks slowly but won't start. First of all, mech dat came to check her suggested the timing chain must have skipped. And then later, he found out that the spark plugs aren't getting voltage when he checked. So he advised we get anoda flywheel sensor. Brought like two, (although he wasn't sure if the ones he brought were still functional) but no positive result. Still slow cranks, and no start. Had it scanned for codes yesterday and it showed these: P1131 current SWIRL CONT SOL/V and P0335 1ST TRIP CKP SEN/CIRCUIT.
Please, take am easy with us, we have obviously abused this car. I fearWe need advice, what can we do to get this car running again?

Start with the crankshaft position sensor and go from there. Simple diagnoses are hard enough sight unseen so in this case be prepared for a lot of trial and error.

I mean prepare for a lot of trial and error if you are doing remote diagnosis. It will be a lot more time and money consuming than finding a good shop and taking it there. NLers should be able to recommend one close to you.

G35 is looks outdated, however the "quality" of material used for the interior is better than the 37 but it's nothing a good upholstery job cannot fix.

I still pick the 37

You have no idea what you're talking about. The 07/08 G35 looks exactly like the 09 G37. And the difference between the 07 G35 and the 2010-2014 G37 is a slightly different headlight and grille.

You must be talking about the first-gen G35, while we're talking about the 2nd gen ones.
