In the voice of wailers — closure of border will make investors to run away from Nigeria and arresting a revolutionist and sore-loser of an election will make investors to run away,

How market?

The factory has being in construction for over a year. The border closure has nothing to do with this.

They are Ogun state jare

Although they are mostly Awori towns, but nonetheless in Ogun state.
Mostly or Awori towns? Ado Odo Ota is the most industrialized LGA in Ogun yet ranked worst in infrastructure.
The government have been playing politics with the region and it's pathetic. I hope Gov Abiodun can begin meaningful projects in the area to ameliorate the unending suffering going on there.

Its only one Ughelli, I don't know where u are driving to.
Sorry i just discovered that it's from a poor journalism from the op or which ever blog he must have gotten the news from.

Yes there is ughelli in Delta State and there is Agbara in Delta State too.
The op got us all confused when he wrote that apart from the glass company in Agbara in ogun state, there is another in Ughelli.
But he failed to mention the state, which is in Delta State.

I think most folks from Delta might be confused with his reporting.

This info isn't correct,it's not a new factory, the former name was Guinea glass,Beta glass before Frigoglass Agbara Ogun state Except we have Agbara somewhere else.
It has been operating under the name Frigoglass for years, all they did was a little expansion.
The company is managed by fuckkkking Indians.
Nobody should see it as a good opportunity to work there.

Indians are the ones managing most of our companies including the new Dangote Refinery Project.I pray they don't mess up this project.

It's like ogun state have the same name of towns in Delta State.

Because we have Agbarha and ughelli towns in Delta State too.

It's strange.

They are referring to Ughelli in Delta state. They have a plant there (Beta glass). And Agbara in Ogun state they also have a plant there.

Although there is also a town called Agbarha Otor in delta state not to be confused for Agbara

Yes

Aworis (a sub group of Yorubas) see themselves as one with their other brothers in Lagos and have often interacted with Lagos more than the rest of Ogun since the creation of the two states.

Unfortunately, the Remo governor seems like another useless governor who will neglect infrastructural development.

Although I hope I am wrong.

Oga, this one is in Ogun,

Their is nothing I desire now as much as restructuring or outright break up, I feel this contraption is not helping southwest, we used to lead others with a very fast pace, now the pace has bn slow down, due to too much population from other regions, everyone want to stay in southwest, the infrastructures are overwhelmed. It is a pity.

God bless Ogun state

Considering the tribal and nepotistic nature of the vast majority of Nigerians, I prefer Indians managing the factory to Nigerians. It's better a no-nonsense set of individuals manage a facility to a set that sees as opportunity to squander everything in the name of my people or religion. Maybe for a small company but for a big firm, I will advise a foreigner manages the facility instead of a Nigerian. BTW, why will Indians not manage Dangote's refinery very well when they manage Reliance Industries - which has one of the biggest refinery in the world? Isn't that where Dangote sent its new employees for training?

So let me get this straight the investment in Lagos has reach peak it's spilling over the neighboring western states. Talk about concentration of wealth in one region producing economy super heavy weight in turn controlling the power/economy.

One Nigeria indeed. I see why Jonathan scared them so much the real sense

I thought Agbara was in Ogun State. Ogun state makes a lot of IGR from that area yet they can't pay new minimum wage.

I find this odd and impressive at the same time, it's always the other way around in most cases. I hope the government creates an enabling business environment for them as well as local businesses.

I tell u that is why most bussiness in Nigeria dont survive after two years.... !!..

the contraption is actually in your favour if you must know, as the federal govt concentrated infrastructures in Lagos and the population is generating revenues to your people and govts with nothing tangible to show. with proper restructuring the southwest will lose out as they are used to free money unlike the old days of regional govt..
