many of our leaders should be undergoing mental test before assuming their position. what happened to building of schools and renovating the existing ones. I think most of these governors should learn from Seyi Makinde of Oyo state

I agree!

Kudos to the jigawa state government.
If ugwanyi budgets money to build 95 churches here in Enugu, the idiot is getting kicked out of that govt house.
A governor is voted for infrastructural and human development not religion enhancement.
Anyway I don't know why people are fuming over this,if that's how jigawa people want their money to be spent then why should anyone complain.
So far I haven't seen anyone protesting against this decision on the streets of jigawa.
What happens in jigawa stays in jigawa.

Jigawa govt to construct 95 mosques, over 200 contractors applied for bidding

The Jigawa State Government has opened tender for the construction of 90 Friday congregational and five daily prayer mosques, across the 30 constituencies of the state.

According to him, the Chairman, Tender Board Committee and Permanent Secretary, Administration and Finance in SSG’s office, Muhammad Dagaceri, said the bid opening is for the second quarter of 2019.

Mr Ibrahim disclosed that 200 contractors are bidding for the contracts.

He added that, the representative of the state’s Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, Ghali Mu’azu, said the process of selecting the contractors would be transparent, fair and just.

From the above post. it is safe to say Nigeria is a complete shithole. Where is the separation of religion and government? Most goofy Nigerians tend to tout the democracy they have adopted. Sometimes, I wonder if human beings really occupy the geographical expression called Nigeria. What a silly piece of crap.

Allahu Akbar. Saudi Arabia is breaking away from religion while our Nigerian Muslims are reinforcing the chains of religious bondage and backwardness. What a pity. Yahoo Yahoo Islam is what they are practicing; most of them are scammers.

Hmn...North!!! The same state that needs serious infrastructure and human development makes building of mosque their priority. I'm not surprised though, by this action he has one the heart of so many "blind" Jigawa people.

If you've not been to the north before, you won't know the contrast between north and south.

Stupidity cannot be tolerated. You are the intolerant goon on this thread. If the dumbass governor tend to use his personal money for the Mosque, I shall not give a ratass but public fund is completely out of the question. Nigeria practices democracy therefore rule of law should be respected at all level. Governments in Nigeria are not in the business of religion.
