I want to use this opportunity to thank seun for creating this platform.

I also thank those following me here and on my Facebook page making up my current tens of thousands followers.

it has enable me to share my personal stories, struggles, successes, challenges etc as it pertains to what I love to do and talk about FARM BUSINESS

I met a nairalander recently that told me how I have metamorphose from being a normal guy he used to know then to joining the beard gang...lol

Although this is my 7th year on this platform talking agriculture, I have been involved offline engaging and practicing my trade before a friend introduced me to this platform to share and expose people to this hidden wealth creating sector and how to profit from it even at a time many Nigerians were asleep with little or no practical insights into the sector

I remember posting on this platform that agribusiness is the future and that people should get involved.

All what I stated are coming to pass even with different political dispensation and change of power.

There is no better time than now to be involved in agriculture. The boom are coming and it will only be benefit those already involved.....you can take this to the bank, its coming to pass.

Border closure is just part of government policy targeted to encourage Nigerians and boost income ; I believe in few years,we will witness more favorable policies

Its not too late to be part of the next generation of agribusiness millionaires and billionaires

#Get involved

......to be continued

Over the years I have enable access to affordable farmland for agricultural production ,provide solutions to the challenges and issues facing investors willing to partake in the agricultural prosperity in Nigeria.

The journey have been good, although few times challenging.

Many now have a thriving farm business and are doing great.

some of the solutions and benefits delivered to nairaland investors who venture into agriculture and many other people off nairaland includes

CREATING A SECURED FARM ESTATES

Some of the risks involved in starting a profitable and successful agric venture are infertile farmland, access to market,Fulani cattle invasion, shortage of labourers, road access etc

How do we solve all of these problems to enable people interested in venturing and investing make money despite all of these risks ?

This brought about the first farm estate.

Many years ago,I bought some acres of land for cassava, after about few months to harvest,Fulani people invaded the farm and lost out.

That bitter experience brought about creating a secured farm estate where solutions for all of the challenges facing agriculture will be provided.

Moreover I was the only farmer cultivating there so I was easily prone to it

That taught me my first lessons

Don't buy any farmland in a location where you are the only one farming there

Don't buy where its not secured

The land was later abandoned and have to find another location

And there are many people who just buy without putting all of this into consideration

The easiest part of any successful farm business is to buy land but that doesn't guarantee the success if other factors are not considered;

What about the security of the place?

what about availability of labourers?

what about ROAD ACCESS?

Is it not only yourself that will be farming there?

All of these are what is needed for you to succeed

Most sellers just sell you farmland and when you start cultivating, you are now faced with the reality of some of these issues earlier; by then you are on your own.

Either you spend more.money to solve these issues or you abandon the land totally.

Fortunately, our farm estate provide solutions to all of the challenges
Access to road, you don't have to worry about Fulani herdsmen, the farm estates have labourers available, access to market etc.

I am happy that we have been able to deliver on this.

Its better you patronise a reliable farm estate where all of the challenges are solved and would not have to worry about all of these issues.

If you are based in Lagos,Ogun or Oyo state or you want to situate your farm business there, you can get land in any of our farm estate there.

Nice work young man. I’m an experienced vegetable farmer major in cucumber, watermelon, groundnut and some others agroproducts, I’ve a farm in Edi state, Benin precisely but I just related back to Lagos and still want to keep my passion going. January is just around the corner and cultivation period will soon start. So I’d like to get a farm close to Lagos where I can cultivate watermelon and cucumber next year.

Somewhere free from herdsmen with good road for easy movement and most importantly availability of workers off course you know I can’t do the job all by myself.

So please kindly avail me these information needed.

Thanks and God bless you.

One of our boreholes to serve large expanse of our crops during the dry seasons and for the livestock.

Dry season is one of the most profitable seasons if you can take advantage of it.

Due diligence, getting necessary practical skills and guide from mentor are the things you need to pull through.

The aim of this thread is to open your eyes to the wealth creating opportunities in this area and how you can make in oilpalm business.

It's very profitable and sustainable enterprise although your investment start coming in by the 4th year of production.

According to the story told by my biological father, his late father (who was my grandfather) cultivated large expanse of land for oilpalm in the 1940's when he was young.

Many years ago,I heard him on the phone discussing on getting his own share of palm oil from the farm; that was how I got to know and this is how they do share palm oil quarterly or so.

Calculating the years now, that will be about 80 years or so.

That spur my curiosity about oilpalm plantation and my interest in this farm business grew.

How can you cultivate a crop and still be earning good revenue from it many decades later?

So I started planning on how to create my own oilpalm empire.
And the oilpalm farm estate in ijebu-igbo was born.

Now,I have tested and can say it's best and most profitable and sustainable cash crop you can cultivate.

Unfortunately, the potential has not being tapped.
Apart from the palm oil, there are other value added products like palm kernel cake, palm kernel oil, broom sticks etc that generate even more money than palm oil.
