Hello Nairalanders, What if someone fakes a B.sc and Transcript and gets admitted to study for Masters in the Nigerian University, but in reality he has HND (Upper Credit).

Will Employers in subsequent years on seeing the CV with HND and M.sc suspect any foul play?

IF an employer sees your M.sc certificate, will he insist on P.GD since you have your HND also in the CV?

Don't build a Manson on false foundation

Why fake your way to success in the first instance...?

the false foundation is only at the point of entry.

its sickening having to go through another 1year just to get a P.GD just because you are a Poly graduate.
I mean even with Upper Credit? its difficult man.

advance Countries accept HND (upper credit) for direct masters program.

1year P.GD again is very very stressful since its full time.

that means 3years before you complete your masters.. thats stressful man.

Please don't fake the B.Sc cert or transcript just to gain M.Sc admission, in some federal schools in Nigeria you can gain direct admission into M.Sc programme with your HND upper credit or distinction certificate without going through PG.D

It's a standard already set,
No one can alter that,
Just do the PGD to be on a safe side...

It must backfire, you may not escape that...

So employers go as far back as verifying SSCE cert

Is not about name them, any school you want to apply to for their postgraduate programme ,
You have to go to the department and make enquiry from the departmental PG coordinator. Some departments in uniben doesn't offer PGD or part-time programs for postgraduate studies...they offer you direct admission whether with your BSC or HND, so far you met the admission requirements as stipulated by the department and pass your screening test, they will offer you admission.....but as an HND holder or if the second degree you are going for is different from what you did in your first degree irrespective of the institution then you will be required to do some remedial courses (extra courses).

Recently COREN or NSE issued a warning against going for HND conversion to Bsc for Engineering courses.

Go to Advanced country then. Its not as if you didn't know right from time.

Why didn't you go straight for Bsc?

People need to understand that having given you admission, the university still goes ahead to contact the supposed university where you finished from to authenticate. Even if you escape this, any organization or company you work for always does background checks on all their staff at least before promoting you to a high rank. So no matter what you do, on false degree, you will still be caught and then it would be so painful because you'd have started to build a life and family and end up being arrested.

Most times you go Scot free and even get the best of employment. I know someone who never had a NCE cert but a headmaster in the North.


But your second name should be "low-key" and don't move Close to politics or its appointment.
