IPOB staged a peaceful protest in Owerri, the Imo state capital. Hundreds of young men wearing white singlets paraded through some major streets in Owerri, armed with Biafran flags, singing freedom songs and demanding a referendum. They were hailed by passing motorists and pedestrians alike.

Freedom of expression is enshrined in the constitution of Nigeria. Anyone is allowed to protest for whatever reason. If IPOB wants to protest that Snow should fall in Nigeria, it is their right.
