I just needed servicing and other routine checks before I travel with the car

Oga Gazzuzz, pls wat can make 03 corolla make light hiss sound when accelerating when d car is abt picking up from drive or reverse from total stop or almost total stop ( traffic hold up) when AC is on only.
I mean when AC is on and l want to accelerate ( drive/reverse) from almost total stop position.
When road is free and l accelerate, it DOES NOT hiss.
Only hiss like when accelerating in traffic and AC is on.

GAZZUZZ:
A.C.T. it temporarily disengages compressor when it notices sharp demand for power . You are also low on Freon.

thank you for your swift response. Pls, can u recommend where/ who can help fix this issue.
Also, pls the likely amount for both ACT and Freon so as to prepare for it.

It's just a programming function of the engine ECU and a/c module and not a part. it is normal for it to disengage . But not normal for it to whistle each time it re-engages. Check your ac charge levels and top up if required

you have a faulty o2 sensor , back of engine lower one

Today, the P0174 code (system too lean bank 2) returned.

The P0136 code (02 sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 2) didn’t resurface.
