Blindersoff:Agreed that some of our politically exposed persons pretend to get their freedom. But how does that become an issue with Ozekhome who is a lawyer. Lawyers are there for all, the accused and the accusers. Everyone has a right to defence and fair trial. If the prosecuting counsels fail to do their jobs appropriately, why should great lawyers like Ozekhome be blamed? Can you name one great Nigerian lawyer today who has not defended a criminal? If you drive your car and you grievously injure someone, that is a very serious offence. Won't you require a great lawyer like Ozekhome to defend you? If you are accused of a crime that you know nothing about, surely you"ll require a great lawyer to defend you. A bad lawyer is a passport to jail. So all the big men believe in him and his abilities. Ozekhome should be allowed to do his professional job. Or will you put your own food on his table? |

Well everyone is innocent until a competent court of law can prove otherwise beyond doubts. It is also sickening how our EFCC never follow due process when discharging her duties. For those people saying SAN Mike OzEK is always defending 'criminals, the same people shld be informed that everyone deserves a right to a lawyer, to a fair hearing |

Cantonese:Point out one case that Ozekhome has been a lawyer to that is not linked to someone who has been charged for corruption or for looting the resources of Nigeria. He seems to have retrained himself to loot from the looters himself. God punish him |

Minjim:You see am too! The trials and sentences of corrupt elements in Nigeria is best described as a joke. The judges too are not helping, they're corrupt more than anything. The press is also there, they would rather play to the gallery than use their medium to call these people out. |

Blindersoff:I was about to like your comment until you mentioned Ozekhome. Nigga has quit politics for while and face his profession full time. He is not a card-carrying member of any political party. His prayer as a lawyer is for criminals, the big ones, to always have issues. Like every good business man, he wants to make money. Blame the system for allowing this charade. Everything in Nigeria is a joke. Once a thieve is caught, he will suddenly become sick. Ozekhome's job is to explore the weakness of the law. |

These leaders past and present always act for themselves rather than the people. Nigerians should not worry about them, God does not sleep. |

That is the strategy of that useless lawyer. Ozekhome or what is that his stupid name will definitely die with that corrupt money he always defend. |

EFCC, a bunch of clowns. They have been carrying out media trial on this man for a while now. One would have thought that they will have their case file on the man ready to proceed to court trial. Now the man is back in Nigeria and EFCC is asking Court to allow them detain him for 14 days. Incompetent fools. I hope the Court does not grant them additional time. |

Blindersoff:y reason like an illiterate when u claimed to be educated, law is a profession is not about moral or sentimental believe as an accused has right to a lawyer and most of them like using ozekhome because he is grounded in that aspect, show me one lawyer in Nigeria that has turned down the opportunity to represent a client because is alleged to be corrupt? Even tinubu has a lawyer representing him in all his criminal cases, even when is obvious to all that he is a criminal. |

Until EFCC arraign tHief Obasanjo for questioning . The so called fighting corruption is merely playing to gallery. Thief Obasanjo has probably caused the country to lose trillions of dollars in wealth. and earnings. |

this is the part i like most: “We are also aware of a common pattern among Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) to fall sick as soon as they are called to account for their tenure. But we will give Adoke the benefit of doubt. “We are hopeful that Adoke’s interrogation will continue on Sunday (today) if his health is stable enough.” ![]() |
