I Saw An Hausa Man Beats Up A Married Yoruba Woman In Akure Today by Mraphel: 8:41pm On Dec 25, 2019
Just this evening in a Yoruba market, i witnessed a disheartened scene in which an Hausa onion seller insulted a yoruba woman (Married woman) that wore "hyjab" then the woman reciprocated and return back the insults, what shocked me next at that scene was when the hausa man ran towards the yoruba woman and slapped her without any restrain whatsoever, threw her down and started punching her to the ground.
The other women in the market upon realising he's an Hausa man came for the woman's rescue they joined hands together to beat the hausa man for about ten minutes.

These Yoruba women even tore his long cloths and trouser before the Hausa man finally ran away from the scene.
The luck the hausa man had was the Yoruba men were not at the scene it could have been worst for him.

On the other hand, igbos in the market at the scene shows the regular unconcerned attitude and were spectators (they were already set to lock up their shops if the fighting escalated more

I think the majority Hausa and Yoruba clashes in the south west are caused by the Hausa or what is your opinions Nairalanders

Can a southerner or a Yoruba man travel up the northern part to beat up an Hausa man or woman just for a slight offence?

They'll still get him. He can only run but can't hide.

You are a ethnic bigot.
Stop coloring issues along the lines of tribes, faith ethnicity or region.
Be objective.

We have good and bad people from every tribe, religion and region

Otondo op.

I'm sure if we're an Igbo woman, Yoruba men would have killed the Hausa man for her...

Like they did in Kano when a Igbo was beheaded in the market.

Okkk....? What did you expect the Igbos to do? Unfortunately, ethnic-tainted aggression like that is routine in Nigeria and they were rightfully very concerned with their livelihoods if it spiralled out of control.

You claim to witness the incident, apart from observing the ethnicities and gender that got involved, what action did you take as a concerned individual?

What did you do to help the woman? How could you stand scared and watched while the women intervened.

though it is a daily occurrence in the south west,at mile 12 market the other day I witnessed a young Hausa man insult and threatened to slap a mature Yoruba woman, the other time too a truck pusher(Hausa)hit a woman(Yoruba) selling stuffs and her stuffs got scattered on the floor instead of Apologizing the truck pusher threatened to beat her up

The Hausas own mile 12,Yorubas can't do Sh*t without getting their backside whopped

Even the last riot that occurred between Hausas and Yorubas in mile 12 which had several Yorubas Escaping to Mowe/ibafo IDP camp was caused where an Hausa bikeman hit a pregnant Yoruba woman, many Yorubas were burnt alive by Hausas that day, later in the day the Yorubas then went in their hundreds to kill Little Hausa kids and loot their shops

but Hausa are not their problem but igbo when we have never had any physical alterations with them ,I don't know why the Yoruba man is wired that way

Believe me,those Igbo guys did not raise a finger because they lacked compassion.. Igbos traditionally have been used as scapegoats in Nigeria for wading into rifts that don't concern them.. Somehow the combatants find a way to close ranks and then face the Igbo peacemaker.. So pls let's talk about the Hausa guy and the women he battered in their markets and leave ppl trying to eke their living in peace.
