By the way, I thought Christians criticize the Prophet for fighting wars (legitimate Jihad that entails self defence or war against those who strove to extinguish the call of Islam or those who broke the treaties between us and them by persecuting the Muslims and plotting against Islam)

They say that the bible is peaceful and that if there's any need to fight, that God is the one to fight for himself.

But are these not verses where Jesus (as God in the old testament; or is it not that you believe Jesus is God who came down as a human) commanded people to fight and kill gruesomely on his behalf:

Kill everyone except virgin girls who you should keep for yourselves:

Numbers: 31. 17. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. 18. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. - Bible Offline

Kill women, children, suckling and animals:

1 Samuel: 15. 3. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass. 4. They claim God fights for himself. But why these? Even in a legitimate Jihad, Muslims do not destroy all that they have. Muslims do not kill women and innocent and weak infants and sucklings. Muslims do not kill animals - innocent animals!!

So what's this whole theory that the bible is peaceful and God fights for himself. They do that to spite our prophet but we have worse verses in the bible.

And if you say it's a bad thing, then it means God also did something bad before, before he then decided to correct himself in the new testament. And since you believe that Jesus is God, then you believe Jesus was the one who did those "bad things". Maybe that's why he came to earth to act like a peaceful man so as to cover up for his mistakes
