Not always. They went into Vietnam after the French and fumbled, Afghanistan and Iraq was the same. The US military seems to have pretty good doctrines for conventional warfare but always get bogged down when the enemy is utilising unconventional tactics and strategy. I think the US will knock the teeth out of Russia in a straight up conventional fight but Russia is more likely to utilise dirty tactics in real life and would probably stall the US military juggernaut on the battlefield. Let us hope we never get to see a fight between them because make no mistake everybody will feel the impact of the fight.

It is really dumb for anyone to tag US or Biden as weak.
The US army is the same no matter who’s the president, remain strong, constantly modernizing but will avoid a direct confrontation with a nuclear armed nation. That’s not weakness by any means.

I agree. Some people think if a nuclear bombardment occurs in North America and Eurasia that some how Africa will not feel the impact, forgetting that weather patterns are intertwined globally. When Chernobyl went critical in the 80's some of it spilled into Europe and is still affecting some things there and this for something that was eventually controlled. There'd be nothing to control the fallout from nuclear war.
