No companies does that in the world. It is because they are making too much money from Fed Government. Highly wasteful . You don't need to spend up to half of them to motivate them. In a country where majority are poor, that money can be better used

We're talking 280 staff and not 28!
It can only be government money!

whether gov money or not, is irrelevant to them treating their staff right TODAY.... if there is no more contract then they will explain that to their staff and give them a gift next year according to their financial situation at the time.

you dont have to offer trips to Dubai every year to be a great company, so long as you treat your staff properly (and reward them accordingly) which is what matters here.

Someone tell me why those staffs will not put in their all in such an organization. Your employees are not your slaves dammit, they are supposed to be your partners that will help take your organization to your desired goal. Nigerians need to learn this simple fact.

come on now, thats rubbish. many companies are sending their staff across the world. African companies included. i personally worked in Brazil with some unknown South African AND french company who had sent their whole staff on holiday there. not as unusual as you may think.

Most Nigerians are not Patriots.Just imagine a company that made it's money from contracts got from the Federal Govt. of Nigeria only to sponsor over 280 staff to Saudi Arabia.The millions of naira spent on flight, accommodation feeding etc to develop tourism and lGR in Saudi was a waste.

Why not take them to some of the numerous tourist centres in Nigeria to improve income of people in the areas, their state govts . and tax for the Federal Govt.

OnlyGod can save Nigeria from povergy.lt is well !

Not a waste of money. Traveling abroad is a dream come true to most people in Nigeria. So, this one in a life time opportunity is a nice opportunity for a change.

I don't think you need to worry about your fiancee. Dubai is a good place for business and career development. If softcom offers her to work there, leave everything and go there together. Rent an office https://theplace.group/office/dubai-dmcc somewhere in the city center and work. I see no reason to worry. By the way, if your bride loves you, then she doesn't care, she goes there to work, and that's it.
