Frankly I'm thinking of moving from Xiaomi to Realme because they've got some amazing phones at very reasonable prices, even way cheaper than Xiaomi phones.
I came across Realme 5 Pro Global version, 8gb/128gb with dedicated SD card storage (256gb), Snapdragon 712, @about 78k on AliExpress. YouTube reviews are excellent, but I want more opinions on this brand and their products.

Good specs on paper but am wary of the software but you can buy one so we can get first hand review from you.

If you say they've sold just few products, it's because they are new in smartphone market. They were officially established in 2018. OPPO is their parent company. Xiaomi started with very cheap phones too... So it's understandable if Realme is aggressive with their pricing too.

Am not against the product bro, am talking about the price many people have being scammed on alliexpress even though they buy things there almost everyday.... Just be careful about the price that's what am saying

Two things have stopped me from buying this phone for now.

1. I sent messages to two different sellers, messages are still unread and not responded to, it's been 3 days now. If my enquiry can't be addressed, then I have to look away.
2. No LED notification.

Lol they even got the specs wrong, it has an IPS LCD screen and not amoled plus it's a sale price meaning the real price is higher than that... The phone has no led notification light, plastic back and from what I heard, color os is crap... There are a lot of compromises on the phone thus justifying it's price, I'd never pick this phone over the redmi note 8 or note 8 pro

I'm planning on getting the Realme x2 Pro, come January.
Color OS 7 will fix a lot of the software ish, where realme seem not to have gotten things right.

Pls does anyone have an idea on how and where to get the realme x2 ?

Guys! Realme is a very good brand, their phones come with very good hardware configuration and as for the software, they are trying their best by supporting the software development. As we all know, Color OS 7 is on its way. I have used Redmi note 8 and Lenovo Z6 Lite recently, currently using Realme Q but I can tell Realme Q is better than those two phones I mentioned in every aspect.

Like I said, Realme Color OS 7 is on its way. That will be an improvement to the Color OS 6. But I'm using Pixel Experience Plus, it's damn good and stable.

Realme 5 Pro ? The issue with 5 Pro is once you unlock the bootloader, you can't relock it back else it will be hard bricked. And currently no solution to revive a hard bricked 5 Pro! As for the Q, you can unlock and relock at any time.
