iamoyindamola:lol we won't relegate. We just need to keep the new philosophy and start winning again. When players are back from injury, we get more options. Do not forget how man city and Liverpool were made to work for the win by this Chelsea side. Look at our line up and you'll understand that we just need quality in some areas. This team will come good under Arteta. |

iamoyindamola:with the way we're going, I believe Arteta will improve us. He's just unlucky to meet so many injured players in the squad Even the 2nd goal happened because saka was limping while tracking willian. Meanwhile, I don't know what's wrong with lacazette this past few weeks. He seems off radar. |

My thought for today's match 1.. 2 games in charge and we can see some identity in the team which we lack under Emery. We can surely build on that. 2.. Ozil was class today and he's been so in the past game also. Also, nobody presently at arsenal can play that role as he does. 3...guen needs to be taught the cm role. Less said about him the better. Also, I don't see the impact willock in our games. Don't help defence nor attack. 4... Nelson even though isn't as gifted Pepe is deserving to start over him under Arteta. We could see the left side pressure intensified immediately Nelson was off and pepe on. Pepe hardly tracks back, help his man nor beat his opponent. 5...it will be sad if saka is injured. I don't know who would slot in at lb. Injury crisis is really eating us deeply. 6.. We were really organized and our shape compact. It's a shame a moment of madness by Leno cost us the game and opened it up. But then, most times he's been saving our asses. So I assume it's one of those bad days for keepers. I'm still hopeful sha, I'm praying Arteta is backed by the board, esp if xhaka is leaving Jan. Coyg |

iamoyindamola:Nope. I'll be happy if come May, Arsenal FC would be dragging the 19th position with Norwich City. Swissh , quick question. Do u agree Arsenal is a very useless team and ur very own Peperimpe is the most useless of the lot? |

I am really disappointed in how Arteta managed this game and please no one should tell he is new because it does not excuse the blatant mistakes in reading this game. After the draw against Bournemouth, I figured recovery would play an integral role, especially since he was implementing the press effectively and hoped he saw the same thing I saw. He should have provided some balance in how much we were pressing without the ball considering the lazy players are not used to such. It is very obvious Guen should not be starting for this football team at this time because he is far from ready. At this point, I just hope we are able to hold on to Xhaka until summer because pairing Guen with Torreira will be catastrophic. Guen should have not started the 2nd half, considering the obvious and how he finished the game is absolutely annoying to say the least. His substitutions did not instill any confidence that he was reading the game properly. Willock should have come in for Guen and Pepe for Lacazette or Nelson but he chose to remove Ozil and everything fell apart because we lost balance. As for @Sod’s MCM, the less said the better, he has to go, I would rather we play 10 men than watch Mustafi or Guen on the pitch at the same time. Wednesday is by the corner and I am really worried about how Arteta will utilize the press. Credit to him, we are playing more aggressively on the offense and the press looks coordinated when we utilize it but he has to be smarter at reading it. Lampard made the same error in his early days and I think he just baited time because he knew we would get tired from the press and surrender possession to Chelsea. |
