hey everyone
I would like to hear Y'alls view on a mitsubishi pajero 03(Naija used)
it's going quite cheap because the owner is moving abroad, very neat and all.
I would like to know how easy it is to maintain in Nigeria, fuel consumption rate etc
it's a family car and roads to the house is quite bad, hence an SUV is needed.

if you've used this car before, kindly give some advice. thanks.
That car.... Hmmmm how much first?

Please I will need your expertise advise on the 2010 acura MDX. How thirsty is it in terms of oil consumption? How cost effective is the maintenance? And what is the reliability in the long run.

Base on your experience is it popular and a good buy?

Buy it very good vehicle

It doesn't consume oil ie the Engine doesn't experience oil burn.

The 3.7L V6 isn't good on gas Sha compared to the Lexus RX but you will enjoy smiles per gallon when you throttle and it responds well giving that dash found in sport vehicles.

The SH-AWD is a well thought tech, not the best off-road but still solid. The tech pack trim is well packed but might try to avoid it if you don't intend fixing in reputable shops.

If you are sure it is well maintained I mean really certain because Mitsubishi Engine smokes easily when you use wrong Engine oil for it

wow, thank you
my dad had a Mitsubishi gallant 03, that car was rugged as hell but finally got damaged due to engine problems, you're very right about the engine sir.

so all in all, do you think it's a good buy?

BMW. Faster, better looking, better handling, more powerful, forget fuel economy. Daily Driver? I can't recommend either! Once you get the Bimmer, arrange for a small Corolla/Civic and inner peace will naturally be yours.

Same Engine, same transmission and same platform But Avalon is bigger and wider by few inches.

So pick the one you fancy out of both

[thanks quote author=nurey post=70636098]

Both vehicles are OK and have equal rating in almost all the criteria you are looking at

The Mazda MPVs has a 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder manual /automatic-gear-box while the sienna is a V6 only automatic gear vehicle

The sienna is a reliable vehicle above the Mazda as you will get replacement part for it anywhere in the country,

The Mazda has better mpg than sienna with its 2.5L V6 (gbera engine grin) Vs 3.0L V6 (old soldier never dies)

Maintenance the sienna wins the engine is fitted into several Toyota lineup it's also a simple less sensor engine. The Mazda is alright too except for working in the engine bay area

Verdict the 4 cylinder Mazda is a slow vehicle compared to the V6 a 3 seater and comfortable sitting, the sienna beats it in size and cargo space.
Both vehicles V6 is a good choice, the Mazda rear suspension is solid over the sienna independent suspension so would still be firm on full load

I would pick the sienna to play it safe and if I intend to hurl cargo around

I would pick the Mazda for fuel economy or as a second small journey vehicle [/quote]

It's more of a Daewoo in and out. You don't see those cars on road because we just got bored of them, I remembered the days of Daewoo tico the smallest kpangolo on wheels grin

You have bought the car just use it judiciously I don't know much about the vehicle.

Maintenance, lower fuel consumption, resale value, closer to rubber magnet, parts availability and lower price... These go to the Lexus IS....Speed and performance, handling, more consumption of fuel, high cost and less likey of parts available goes to the Acura.

I think the Acura also wins in design and interior. I hate the front looks of the IS.

I will pick the Acura over the TL.

I have owned and driven the accord and camry,, both of 2003 and I give the driver feel performance and comfort to the honda.

Maybe that is why I will pick the Acura over the Lexus.

The design thing is subjective. I'm also of the opinion that the Acura has a better design and that the interior even though similar looks better than the IS.
