This is quite misleading. There's no place mentioned here that I didn't take regular trips to during my 2 years as an e-hailing driver. There is none I can't take a trip to during my normal work hours - 6:00am to 8:00pm. To every aboki, his kettle. AngryIgboMan: |

AngryIgboMan: ![]() This is like the whole of Lagos MAINLAND na. You no want make Mainland people use our service On a more serious, you are correct. But like someone said, every Malam with his kettle. Some drivers prefer working on the Mainland, but as for me and my car, we no dey smell that side again. Any trip that exceeds IKOYI - VI - LEKKI - AJAH, na "Kindly cancel and request another ride" I dey tell them. One guy was going to Ketu yesterday. After giving him "my canceling line", he started shouting that didn't I see his destination before I accepted the ride?? For my mind, you no fit use your raggae spoil my blues... |

izzou:I remember one trip to Ajegunle from Surulere. It was difficult getting there. The roads were bad, but I managed to navigate it and dropped off rider. Fare was like #2,000. Then I got Lekki trip - about #3,500. I also remember another Ajegunle trip. Got to destination around 8:30pm; then got stuck inside trailer traffic. I finally got to Oshodi by 11:30pm. I just went home straight. I love diverse experiences. They build my tolerance and resilience. That's why I never rejected those kind of trips even though I knew what I was getting into. |

nitigriti:I'd rather build my tolerance level another way than drive into an obvious trap. What I experienced on that Apapa Ijora bridge to access Mobile Road two weeks ago was terrible. I was in Surulere around Bode Thomas when I got a request, called rider and she told me her Destination was BOUNDARY, I've not heard of that place before so I asked her where that is she said she doesn't know either but the person she's going to meet said its not more than 20 minutes drive, mumu me decided to proceed to pick up. Truthfully when I started the trip, bolt showed 15 minutes to destination, opened Google maps, it showed 21 minutes in RED color. I should have tought about it but I didn't. That 21 minutes ended up been 2 hours for me and I still didn't complete the trip, my rider had to alight and use bike to her destination. |

I am so piss of at taxify right now, I just feel like going to their off to make trouble, I just got blocked this morning for client reporting her missing phone... For God sake this woman in her 40s took a trip of 1600, drunked and didn't get herself, she complained about Bolt drivers being thieves, to satisfy r curiosity I had to end trip d moment I stepped into d deeper life area, taking her home for free till I even entered her gate and dropped her at her doorstep soh I know I got her home safely. I can remember saying I am face wit d trouble of returning her phone now, didn't get to see d phone till I got home ard 9 30pm after picking riders... Yesterday I tried to call d lady in question, she have pattern lock and went as far to put her phone on flight mode, so how am I supposed to reach her, do a trip from ogba back yo her house or go drop d phone at bolt off when I didn't even work yesterday, but took out yesterday as break and time to visit the mech.... Woke up dis morning and thinking through getting a trip to that area so I can go by to drop her phone, but with her putting her gross irresponsibility on me, denying working hours is really crazy, I feel like fight both parties, what if someone saw d phone before me and I wasn't aware of all dis drama? I really wish I have a way to get to both parties. |
