Spy360:I don’t do such. But you should agree I was right about him from scratch and ask for forgiveness for the unwarranted insults. Maybe, just maybe out of magnanimity I’ll forgive you. |

kokaneprodigy:What were you right about that I said you were wrong. Mind you asking for forgiveness is not a problem for me. |

Spy360:when the season started I stated why Guen was undeservingly granted a starting spot and other partnerships were deliberately not tried in the league despite our drab play and results I stated my points with facts and critical analysis of what I saw most of which a lot of fans later saw while others are just seeing. + when u consider Guen and Emery had history while he was in France the image even gets clearer. You chose not to disagree with facts instead went the insult route. Spy beg me for forgiveness. |

kokaneprodigy:He won best club player I think around September when we had our best run this season. That he was voted best by FANS nullifies your claim that he is undeserving. He got called up by France NT and was nominated for best young player, that nullifies your Emery claims. But while you are totally entitled to your opinions (which I cannot dispute) I think you got my views wrong. I am not saying that Guendouzi is the best thing to have happened to us since Theiry Henry, but that your criticism towards him is out of proportion. How? He is a new player, less than two years in the club, coming from French lower leagues. He is quite young to have such responsibility tagged on him. He isnt as talented as we may wish, but his drive and passion is undeniable. Hence blame whoever places him is such a position not himself. Blame the older players who couldn't meet up to expectations. Blame the team leaders for not providing the drive and passion and example for younger players like Guendouzi. Blame the manager for allowing him to shoulder such responsibility to lead our midfield. Hope this clarifies the issue. Don't blame me for insults because both of us are guilty. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Akinbahm(m): 2:58pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
kokaneprodigy:Bro, let's know your stand towards Guendozi you just 8 him for no reason.... Spy has analyzed the boy without any form of bias which you failed to towards both Guendozi nd Xhaka.... On a Neutral ground does a calibre of Guendozi should be competing with Xhaka who has spent 4yrs in Eng on Arsenal Jersey? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 3:04pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
Akinbahm:this is still emotional, he didn’t deserve a permanent starting spot he was only being favoured by Emery. Xhaka is bad yes, as it stands Guen is worse case closed. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Akinbahm(m): 3:26pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
kokaneprodigy:There's no player who deserves permanent starting spot in this squad, maybe Torriera and Auba, the rest are either not good enough, not good at all or are finished at top level in Epl. Xhaka is bad and it's clear, but concluding Matteo is bad or worse is just pure emotions on your path, Guendozi and other young players in this squad deserves to grow in peace. That Elneny and Xhaka are booted out before Guendozi and Willock says a lot. Blame the people at the top for failing to bring in quality matured players instead of fielding youngsters like Matteo,Nelson,Martinelli,Willock,Saka,Smith Rowe etc to compete in the toughest league in the world.... |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 3:46pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
Akinbahm:no one said they don’t want him to grow. Whether u like it or not Xhaka is still better than him as at today reason managers post Emery have been starting him. You don’t help a young player grow at the detriment of team performance it’s counterproductive. There’s a way managers with brain and ambition transition this young folks into the team. The argument was, “ does he deserve to start ahead of Torreira, Xhaka and Ceb in EPL games when they are fit?” The answer is No everyday. FFS Emery even played him in 10 while Ozil was available, isn’t that madness? That Xhaka at his level ain’t performing as expected does not translate to Guen being better than him, you are not even sure what Guen will be like at Xhaka’s age when you look at his (Guen’s) current attributes. |

kokaneprodigy:In short Xhaka is better than Guendozi cause I hate baseless arguments.... |

Jodera:Wanna ask you some questions and I want you answer them without any form of bias.... Has Xhaka justify the position he was being bought for & the amount we paid to land him? What's Xhaka best Position in Arsenal and has He delivered in that position according to you as a sane fan? Has he justify the amount we bought him and feel the void left but coquelin? |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 4:44pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
Akinbahm:You are digressing, reason you should read and understand. No one has said Xhaka is the world best DM in the world. Relative is the key word here. Will he be a better partner for Torreira compared with Guen that’s the crux of this matter. Take the 2nd goal yesterday for example( this is something I don’t like to do) even the ref out paced Guen to arrive at our box despite being bullied off an Ariel duel that lead to that goal. Xhaka would have won that header and worse case foul that guy there and not playing escort service. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 5:53pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
iamoyindamola:if u ask what he does better than Xhaka they’ll say he’s young and has passion and he’ll develop. News flash: Jack Wilshere was once his age and hyped as fuçk, he even played better than Guen at this stage of his career. The rest is history. Unless u are Nostradamus you don’t know how well he’ll develop, most of the players we are cursing now were also prospects some years ago. He could end up being a Viera or turn out to be an Elneny for what it’s worth. With what I’ve seen unless there’s a drastic intervention he’s tending towards Elneny to me. |

Hopefully, 2020 is a new better year, especially if Edu wakes up and justify the great players that love Arsenal but arsenal don't like by shoddy campaigns. Happy new year to all Gunners in the building. |

Akinbahm:I will answer you with all sincerity and without bias 1.. No, he's not justify either his price nor his starting position. 2.. To be sincere, I think he's not cut out for premier league, or maybe he's been under the wrong manager at arsenal. I see him as a deep lying playmaker, but he's not fast enough nor intelligent enough to play the role in EPL. 3...no no no! Not at all. But I wanna know why you ask these questions |

kokaneprodigy:As far as I am concerned, those matches Guendouzi started ahead of any body at all, he deserved. If he didn't, he wouldn't have started. This is not being emotional. It is common sense. |

| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Akinbahm(m): 10:15pm On Dec 31, 2019 |
Jodera:Thanks for being truthful, now my point is the youngsters in Guendozi, Willock etc should be allowed to grow in peace, we can decide if they are good enough either for starting 11 or bench in this team when they get to the iwobi age. It is up to the board to bring in top midfielders like Thomas partey to allow the youngsters learn and shape without pressure. That majority of fans are hopeful on Guen, willock etc than Xhaka and Elneny for the future says a lot about our so called older "better" players... |

Spy360:I wanna ask. When Arsene was starting Ramsey pre 2014 ( after his leg break come back), did he deserve it? Also, are you saying guen deserved to start over torreira?(cos it's mostly guen xhaka pair at the beginning of the season during Emery) |

Akinbahm:Exactly, which Emery failed to do. Bring dem as sub or give them few minutes. Not just starting them as if there are some sort of fabregas in our team. Inasmuch xhaka is not good enough as our cm/dm, between xhaka and guen, I'll choose xhaka as the lesser evil. At least, I know if him head touch, him fit take one outside the box shot score for us, unlike guen wey no hope to even score or assist for us. Guen should be allowed to grow, he was just rushed into the team. Even tho we no sabi pass Emery as per say he's a professional, but there are some decisions he made that's very wrong and starting guen week in week out over torreira is one of them. |
