Happy new year to everyone, please I'm confuse here, I got my wife pregnant here in Nigeria but she traveled to Ghana to give birth. This is the confusion, she gave birth around 11:24pm in Ghana while here in Nigeria the time was 12:24am and already celebrating new year. So what date do I pick, 31th 2019 or 1th 2020. I'm also thinking that my baby has broken time zone barrier.

Please I'm confuse ooo, I need good opinions and comments
If this makes fp i'll be so happy cuz it'll be my first time

Whatever you two decide on will be written on the birth certificate, but as a father that you are pick 01/01/2020.

The one hour difference in the time zone caused this confusion.

Whichever country she is born should determine datevof birth based on their time zones, especially if you're obtaining a birth certificate from there.

Congratulations dude... She gave birth in Ghana... So you are to follow Ghana time. Which is 31st and not Nigeria time..

Lol.. So u need us to tell u to make use of her Father's time zone or mother's time zone.. Please don't disturb us this new year
