Report to the police because if you don't and they get to find out later that you buried the corpse, you will automatically become an accomplice in a murder crime...but before you report, make sure you get the correct information on how she came into the hotel and her possible killer so the police don't rope it on your neck. Truth of the matter is even if you bury the corpse yourself, one day someone among your members of staff will "cast" by loose guarding his/her tongue to the wrong person. 24 Likes 1 Share |

Queenlovely: You mean with all these investments, you don't have CCTV in your hotel? You mean check in and out is not properly done after the departure of a guest.? That does not speak well of an hotelier who has branches home and abroad. You need to be investigated properly since it's not the first time as well. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Re: be good to everybody by nanaman(m): 1:22pm On Jan 01, 2020 |
Queenlovely: Then, it's an inside job. One of your staff has been compromised. Since you know this, I think it's time you get a new CCTV installer from another state. It should be a 2days job when you have low patronage and make the old one a decoy For now, you alone should have access to the new setup till you get someone you can trust. To bring the case to a halt, you have gone through the process before so you know how to go about it. 5 Likes 1 Share |

One of the most important thing to have in an hotel is a CCTV camera.....I guess that wasn't present in your hotel 1 Like |

Queenlovely: This has got to be one of the funniest posts I have ever read in Nairaland, and I had to pause reading several times just to calm down my laughter. So getting down to the meat and potatoes of this matter, your announcement on a public internet forum that a dismembered female cadaver was found in a hotel that you operate in Enugu, is a MAJOR first-time occurrence in the Nairaland forum, and I state this fact in my capacity as the Official Nairaland Historian. With your credentials firmly established, let us now move on to the dead body found in your hotel. Where is the body now ? If it has been removed, who removed it, and to where ? Also, by the way, did you, or anyone known to you, personally kill the person whose dead body graced your hotel ? Now regarding the demands for "mobilization fees" by the Enugu police, so that the case of the hotel dead body can perhaps maybe, ahem, go away, so to speak, I can only hope for your sake that you are NOT suggesting in a roundabout way that you intend to avoid supporting your local sheriff's department in cash and kind, because failure to raise those funds COULD result in you joining those in the "Awaiting Trial" cells, as a guest of the state, pending the conclusion of investigations into the case of the dead hotel guest. Finally, may I inquire in humility about the brand name of cannabis that you personally prefer to imbibe, when seeking inspiration to type such amazing tall tales as the one above. Obviously I do not partake of the wild wood weed, and I am merely asking for a friend. 6 Likes

Jabioro: Do not dare install CCTV inside the hotel rooms. Your hotel could be sued for infringement on the privacy of the clients when it is discovered. You can install the CCTV at the gate, entrance door, reception and more that will capture the faces of clients entering their rooms. If you feel there is/are moles in your hotel, why not sack everyone and recruit new hands. That this is not the first time such discovery is happening at your hotel is not a good thing for the overall image of the hotel. 16 Likes 3 Shares |

Jabioro: Are you fucking serious? Any hotel that tries that with me, I swear the manager or owner or whoever I lay hands on would not survive it. How dare you install cctv INSIDE a room that someone is paying for? Do you know what privacy means? It is sufficient to install cctv only at the hotel entrance, reception area, and lobby. That is enough to show you who enters and goes out of the hotel. 3 Likes |

Firstly, if u operate a hotel such as the one u are on, u must get a lawyer who would keep a very warm friendship with the police. That way, anything that is police or crime related would be handled smoothly, with little or no friction to your business. On this issue, pls contact a lawyer who knows his onions. Our office would gladly cement a good business relationship to protect your business interests. Best of luck |

Hedonisco:You won't know and what you don't know will never give you fear.. the information on it will only be available to the hotel owner or top management...the general one can know by ordinary staff.. |

I'm just hearing this for the first time, those advising OP to install CCTV inside room are u guys OK. So if some one is having good time, u guys will be watching him or her, is that not infringement of right? CCTV should be along the walkway and not inside room 4 Likes 1 Share |

DavidEsq: Cheap advert. A dead body was found in one of the hotel rooms. How will you, a Lawyer, succeed to sweet-talk the Police out of this issue? Someone must take the fall for the crime. Encourage the Op to put in appropriate security measures to forestall a future occurrence and/or identify the criminal if it happens again. Stop this your cheap advert. 1 Like |

installing CCTV in the rooms is dangerous because customers can sue the hotel for invasion of privacy, the best thing is to install CCTV outside of the rooms. Jabioro: 2 Likes |

Queenlovely: This is serious. Every business has its own landmines. CCTV and human security should work hands in glove. Employ 2 men and two ladies just to patrol the hotel premises every 30 minutes 24 hours daily. Make this their job. They just see and report. Or overhaul your staff. Never allow your staff be stronger than you. 1 Like |
