If that is not a penalty then AWB should be getting a yellow card for that dive.

Come on guys!!! We have surrendered possession to United. Energy levels have dropped, we can not risk capitulating like we did against Chelsea. It is a game of 2 halves.

The system is different for all the players and it requires a lot of adjustment in conditioning. Arteta is quite intense in training and you can see they do the same thing on the pitch. Arteta’s style requires a lot of energy because of the intensity and constant movement of players. This is the 2nd game where we have looked flat in the 2nd half and that has to do with intensity.
More so the festive season has a lot of games coming back to back in short periods with little or no time for recovery.

I took all these into account. In fact, our winning goal was caused partly by the fact that Saka had run himself into getting cramps and couldn't keep up with Willian.

However I singled Lacazette out because this observation has repeated itself over time.

That is a typical example/ reason as to why you don’t take Ozil out. He creates the balance and helps the team find moments to get breathers.

Oh okay, I thought you did not consider that factor. Apart from the conditioning, Laca had opportunities to score or force the goalie to make a save but he scuffed chances.

The boys were able to manage the game properly. Knowing how to play with conserved energy. A massive improvement from the last match.

Arteta learnt his lesson about keeping Ozil on the pitch when leading and heading into the final quarter of the game.
