It isn't rationally right to compare the two because they aren't of the same calibre: Communication is a means to an end, while understanding is an end product of concurrent means. So, communication as a constituent of means/precursor of an end is an agent of understanding. Indirectly, understanding can only justifiably be compared to love/goodness - understanding breeds love. |
