To be honest MI is easily in the top 3 spot for the best Nigerian rappers of all time and in Africa at large.
The only guy topping him is mode-9 and that's even debatable if you put quantity of music materials as a factor.
Illegal music 1 - 3 certifies MI as a dope MC. They all got that late 90's, soul, after-life vibe. That's real hiphop.
MI is like last emperor, poetic (r.i.p) and a little of nas tied up in one body.
MI is a genius when the Mic comes on. Sadly, his personal views on life is not so impressive. Sometimes, social media is bad influence to a celebrity's image.
This is why jay-z inspite of being the richest rapper (over a billion dollars now) does not operate a personal social media account. Scarcity adds value. Simple logic.

Safe did, and it rocked big time in 2008.
Then again, you can't use that as a criteria to judge the quality of a rapper. Else Nigerian rappers like Overdose and even mode-9 would be rated below skinny jeans, new school cats like Ycee.
Or just maybe you're from this new school era.
