Below are photos of the  N10bn renovation work of Enugu International Airport.

The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, has said the Akanu Ibiam International Airport runway in Enugu would be completed before Easter.

The minister, who inspected the reconstruction project on Thursday, said the runway would be reopened early enough for operations to travellers during the period

I think the south east is the geographical zone that needs international Airport more than any other zone considering there mass experience when it comes to international and local trade.

The idea of refurbishing the airport is laudable. Not only would it ameliorate operational efficiency, the facelift hopefully will make it comparatively sophisticated among runways around the world. But is N10 billion not exorbitant, given the skyrocketing drop in living standard of Enugu people? Half of that money can erect world-class industries capable of creating over 500 jobs. The government makes money, financial burdens of the average man is lifted, a win-win situation.

The renovation is taking too much time
Going to warri before boarding a bus to East is too stressful abeg...

The Fg has shown a commendable level of commitment in carrying every region along in its developmental strides across the nation with this alone.
I advice that Igbos should play a more mature politics by looking beyond superficial ethnic coloration and religious affiliation, as long as they're still part of Nigeria.

A politician first satisfies the electorate before anything. You're talking about general public. How many votes did you give the man that is giving you this project? Less than 5%.

Why won't you say the airport looks like road, you can't know what an airport looks like na. After all, you've never been to an airport in your entire life. Can you even afford an air ticket?
