Bishop David Oyedepo Completes the Nigerian Navy Music School-AIT Road as part of the N650 Million Road Construction Project ($1.8 million) Budget

The Living Faith Church announced that the Ota-Navy School of Music-AIT Road has been completed. The road was among those scheduled to be repaired in 2019 as part of the N650 Million ($1.8 m) budget approved under the Church. The road from Oju-Ore Junction of the Idi-Iroko Expressway to Lagos via the Navy School of Music (NNSM) to African Independent Television (AIT) at Alagbado, Lagos, which had been closed for a while due to its state of disrepair.

The new development will definitely make life much easier not only for the members of the Church every Sunday, but also for the people and inhabitants of Ota, Ogun State, who take the road to and from Lagos on a daily basis, as it will reduce the pressure and congestion on the Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.

In his release on behalf of Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr, Pastor Ibitoye said:

“GOOD NEWS!

the church choose to do the roads which ordinary the government should do for her citizens, yet you still complain and if they choose not to do them, you still complain. I have read in the news recently that the government of Zamfara state want to construct mosques for 10 billion naira and it is in their budget for 2020. you would be begin to imagine the impact of those mosques to the communities.
I think the problem with Nigerians is that we don't appreciate things that is not coming from the government, we always think they should do more than what they have done but if it were to be the government that did it, we will hail them up and down despite hiking the price of the budget.
I will keep saying this, give Nigeria to this man for 10 years and see how this country would have developed. I salute you Bishop Oyedepo and make God give you strength to more than this

This is Ogun State government project, disregard anything otherwise.

I won’t destroy people’s properties for road construction ― Abiodun

ON DECEMBER 31, 20198:44 AMIN NEWS
James Ogunnaike – Abeokuta

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has assured that his administration would not demolish properties in its quest to improve on-road infrastructure across the State.

Abiodun who made this known on Monday while on an assessment tour of the Ikola-Navy-Osi and AIT road, in Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the State, said his administration had to prioritize the completion of the roads connecting the area with Lagos, adding that Lagos State government had already done its own portion.

Responding to residents request for walkway, the Governor explained that it has to be removed from the original plan, as it would require demolition of more properties, and this administration would not want to be characterized as ‘’one that demolishes properties’’.

“We are here to inspect construction work which is at the final stage. Members of the community are saying they would have preferred to have the walkway, unfortunately, we had to jettison it, despite inclusion in the original design, because we do not want to demolish anybody’s building and cause them pain and suffering. In the next two weeks or less, we shall be commissioning the road which is about seven meters wide with drainages”.

Abiodun said his administration would continue to make life comfortable for the people through the provision of good road network with streetlights, adding that he had instructed the contractors to cover the drainages to serve as a walkway.

In their separate remarks, a former Senator from Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Akin Odunsi and the Onikotun of Ottun-Ota, Oba Abdulhakeem Odunaro, commended the governor for adopting a process, where roads would be constructed without demolition of property, saying the effort to make movement easy for the people in the area was a welcome development.

The governor also visited the Fajol-Ajegunle-American Junction in Obantoko, where he promised that the road would be completed and commissioned before the end of May 2020.

you are talking blindly and you are certainly not making sense, however we all don't pay equal amount of tax, especially the salary earners ...we use the PAYE(pay as you earn) system, it's a progressive tax system, as for the business people maybe the govt is yet to draft a portable and transparent way of taxing them ....maybe thiers for the now is restricted to head tax or flat rate tax.

Meanwhile, give cuddles to whom cuddles is dew, Bishop D. Oyedepo has done well, and deserved an accolade.

Come to think of it you are not even a tax payer and you have the mouth to condemn another .. Take ya time ooo
