pazienza:I clearly understand you but if people from south east keep behaving like this towards anioma then we will never achieve anything as Igbo's.you said that you belong to Ndokwa Facebook page, please let me remind you that not everybody on that page are from Ndokwa. I won't deny the fact that some people from Ndokwa denied being Igbo but the truth is that the number has reduced .let me also remind you that some reason why some people reject Igbo tags is because of the nature of Delta politics. even within anioma aniocha see themselves as aniocha likewise Ndokwa ika and oshmili, the reason is because of politics, if we don't do it like developments won't spear to those area, you can only understand this if you are from Delta state. So seeing comments coming out from here is something else. You all should just God that you are not from anioma in Delta but from Igbo States in east. |

horsepower101:Thanks for your comments at least its still show that people from east still see us as one in respective of anything but some of those denies has something to do with nature of Delta politics which people from east don't understand.sometimes you don't have to blame some people that denies Igbo,if all of us accept Igbo's do you think development will reach some area with the nature of Delta politics? even within anioma we see ourselves separately if not their won't be federal college of education in agbor, state polytechnic in ogwashi uku, state technical college in asaba and other separate developments we have gain separately. Ask yourself why did isoko always reject uhrobo tags. All those things are politics if you don't play it like that nothing for you. |

mr11:Nwanne, there is no reason whatsoever to justify the blatant denial of Igbo identity going on in Ndokwa and Ika. Ijaws share states with Yorubas in Ondo state and still retain their Ijaw identity. The Ijaws in Delta still retain Ijaw identity. The Oshimilis and Aniocha have an overwhelming number of them Igbophillic. Nearly all Proud Igbos from Delta I have ever met were either from Oshimili or Aniocha, it's almost impossible to meet a proudly Igbo man from Ika or Ndokwa offline. Denying your Igbo identity have not brought the development you thought it would attract to you, or exemption from the post civil war victimization of the Igbo by the Nigerian state, you guys tried to avoid by denying Igbo. Why not come back to the fold in sincerity, let's all join hands together to rebuild our unity. Imagine if Omo agege had to deal with 15 south East Senators plus 2senators from Ikwerre in Rivers and one from from Anioma, making it 18 vs 1, would he have been able to hijack the proposed Kwale polytechnic from Ndokwa and claim it for his Urhobo people? When we speak of Igbo Unity, many of you are too ignorant to recognize what our uneducated ancestors always knew, hence the saying :IGWEBUIKE. You think only SE stands to benefit from Igbo Unity, you want to play minority politics with experienced minorities like Urhobos who saw through your folly and aided your Igbo denial, so that they could isolate you from your Igbo brothers and always get one over you like they just did. You are angry that Igbos didn't help you to win the polytechnic from Urhobos and that we don't even care. But you forgot that if all of us started playing the minority politics you went to play. If we all abandoned the Igbo tag and all decended into the chaos of minority ethnicity as Ngwa, Nsukka, Omambala , Ezza, Izzi, Asa, Ndoki, etc ethnic groups like you lots did, then there would be no Igbo for you to be angry with for not helping you today. You want to benefit from something you threatened to pull down and destroy and you wonder why the rest of us who held forte are not bothered by your pains? Nwanne, jeekwa nene ifea ofuma, Taa ka bukwa gboo! |

mr11:Thanks I suspected as much. Same strategy is happening with igbos in rivers state although most of those rivers igbos took it too far and really really hate South East igbos identifying with them. Yes it’s a political strategy and it is working out for you But it’s also has a strong Disuniting effect. Me personally, when I see someone that is igbo and with igbo name, I get excited and try to know them. It will be very soul crushing if that person says loudly and proudly to me, “ I am not igbo”. Some igbos have experienced this in their lives and it’s hard memory to forget. Just know that the future generations of igbos may not be as forgiving as the current one towards people who display igbo denialism. This has to stop sooner than later before the consequences become irreversible. |

mr11:The person u are talking to is an imposter. From ur comments it's clear that u are new to this thread if not, u would have known him and his many monikers by now. His target has always been about division. The other idiot claiming to be Abia 1st son is also the same person using another moniker. Just Ignore them. |

pazienza:The only reason why comments from igbophobic Anioma people annoys me is because I'm from Anioma. If I were to be from any state in the SE, even God knows that I will never bother myself on anything that has to do with Anioma or the SS in general. When I see guys doing research and trying everything to relate Anioma to the easterners, I just laugh because as for me, I gat no time for that nonsense. Anybody that doesn't want to be Igbo is free to claim any ethnic group he or she wants because I don't see myself begging any lost soul to be Igbo or trying to explain history to anybody to know that he/she is Igbo, Ndigbo are better and bigger than that. |

mr11:Though I have reasons to agree because I stayed in kwale for years and I know the area well. Places like umasagede, utagba uno, utagba ogbe, umusam, winners chapel, eke market, umuseti, ashaka...Zenith bank, skye bank, eco bank and unity bank...Lol and the rest sha......I have also been to Abbi. Though the old I have met and interacted strongly agree they are Igbos but will also tell you that the elites are playing poltics on their head. The denial I think sometimes are Strong with the loud youths who find themselves in politics but they heavily diminish others just for their own gain. That place has nearly 8 to 10 oil companies or thereabout and I will be happy to see improved everything all round both infrastructure. Unity will make it a reality. |

pazienza:so you have not seen anybody from Ndokwa or ika that accept Igbo offline? are you from anioma? if yes do you belong to any anioma peoples forum offline? do your offline search you will know that many people from that are always vocal of Igbo unity in that forum are from Ndokwa. the most vocal persons for Igbo unity in proudly anioma proudly Igbo forum on Facebook are also from Ndokwa. you mention aniocha and oshimili people as the only people that don't have Igbo denies but is a big lie, have you been to aniocha north before? see Delta politics is beyond your understanding, you mentioned ijaw from ondo please tell me how they are fairing there?any day All anioma people accept been Igbo that all Delta will unite against anioma.some people denies doesn't mean is Igbo at heart.go to Ndokwa land speak Igbo to few people you will be surprise that they will accept the Igbo but send another person there and tell the person to speak English and ask them the same question you will be surprise that they will deny it reason being Delta politics.don't blame some people that deny it.you come from south east state where everybody is Igbo that is why you are sounding like this. do you know how many employment I have missed in warri because I openly call myself Igbo man.if you are not from Delta you won't understand. |
| Re: . by Ndibunna: 8:01pm On Jan 03, 2020 |
Delta north has I think 9 local government and voting strength. Been too quiet trying to appease the other loud mouths is what is putting them on edge. |

Ndibunna:Thanks for understanding the politics. |
| Re: . by mr11(m): 8:13pm On Jan 03, 2020 |
horsepower101:Now let me ask you a question, how will you feel being deny employment and appointment because you openy accept been Igbo?do you that igbos in Edo state don't have good hospital and other basic things because of Igbo tags. urhobo, ijaws isoko etc are just waiting the day anioma will openly accept Igbo tag that day they will team up and tell us that we are not Delta,is even happening now that will have not openly accept. If you are from anioma you will understand what anioma people are going through. |
| Re: . by mr11(m): 8:17pm On Jan 03, 2020 |
Ndibunna:we have 9 local government but not voting strength.urhobo alone is bigger not to talk when you add isoko and ijaw. |
| Re: . by Ndibunna: 8:29pm On Jan 03, 2020 |
mr11:But last election showed otherwise that anioma at least has voting strength...and enough one ooo Though if it comes to urhobo, Ijaw, and Isoko teaming up. What you guys failed to understand is that it will be quite hard. Urhobo and Itsekiri teaming up is possible because of how they believe Delta belongs to them but with Ijaws is will be quite hard and hard. After how many years, it was last year that anioma produced vice chancellor in Delsu. Okowa should subtly fix and ground anioma in delta politics before leaving office. He can do that. |

mr11:This is why I believe Anioma people need their own state. I still believe that it should be the next state to join the south east but some people think it’s a bad idea because of the on going identity crisis. I personally believe that if Aniomas get their own state, then they can have a safe space that will enable them progress Faster and a conducive environment to solve the identity issues. |
