I m 25 already awaiting NYSC. I finished with a second class upper in Biochemistry from OAU.. I met someone who kind of condemned me.. she said by the time I finished NYSC that I would be 26, that I might not get a good job since all the job adverts around usually says not more than 25 years... that unless I want to run a business... kinda thinking about it since yesterday...please advice me... very needed urgently .

I don't know why people get worked up because of "someone says" that's BS, I graduated 10 years ago, never got a job and now, I'm 32 years. I just finally got a job and mind you, it was advertised for 25 years whatever. That age restrictions for jobs in Nigeria is nonsense, they ask for 10 years experience for someone under 23 years old? How possible is that? Just plan yourself and pray. That's it.

NB: Never let anyone discourage or limit you by cheap talks. This is Nigeria and nothing works normal here.
I will advise you get skilled in as many professional course you can lay your hands on, graphics design, programming, web development, and etc.

a young person.. never experienced nothing.. just need your advice... thanks a lot boss.. and the funniest thing was that the person who condemned me is a worker in one of these banks

Apart from banks, I doubt if other prospective employers ranging from government jobs, oil companies, private sector, telecommunications...etc, follow this trend.

I know a friend who got a lecturing job in my alamata at the age of 42. So ignore all those rubbish and pursue your dreams.
