Enugu looks more or less like a colonial outpost or provincial district, very dusty and old outlook. See Kano which is the age mate of enugu

Ebenezar2020:I strongly advice that u take that ur girlfriend to the hospital for brain check because obviously, she is not alright. I speak the Enuani dialect very well ( enuani is spoken in Aniocha and Oshimili ) and communicate with Anambra people fluently because our dialects sound alike. If an Anambra person speaks to your girlfriend and she is unable to understand and translate that means she doesn't even know or understand Enuani at all or as I said earlier, take her for a brain check. There is no child of Anioma from Aniocha and Oshimili that understands the Enuani language and can't communicate with NdiAnambra especially Onitsha people. Some Anioma people like myself and my household and a whole lot of others can even communicate in the Owerri dialect. And now to the hypocrisy in your speach, u claimed Anioma people hate the Easterners but u are about to marry someone from Aniocha. |

Most of them from these igboid subgroup who deny their Igbo ethnicity do so out of ignorance and that's exactly what Gowon wanted when he with the advice of awolowo divided the Igbo kingdom to smaller regions and carved them under Niger Delta to marginalize the Igbo's and stop them from uniting and separating from Nigeria NimrodEndOfDays: |

Unbiased1:Some times I wonder to what end do these want to achieve these falsehood they promote. Do they even think that the same people who even agree to be called Igbos understand themselves is some cases? The Enugu man has a dialect that I find very difficult to understand but does that make them to be non Igbos? People should not speak from the position of Ignorance. |

pazienza::Bros you are always at the forefront for Igbo and shall remain a blessed son of Igbo. It was recently that Godwin Alabi-Isama of all people publically called himself an Igbo man. He is also from Ndokwa. Sometimes I tempted to forgive Alabi-Isama because of his parentage. His father, Ndokwa peep, died when Alabi-Isama was very young and he is raised by his mother, Muslim Yari.ba, from Ilorin. Unfortunately, Alabi-Isama past his useful age before he was led by hand to his father's compound in Ndokwa. The tendency to deny Igbo is very rampant among Ndokwa however one of the fiercest defender of Igbo that I know is a man from Ndokwa called Thomas Ossai. The old dude taught me so many things in life. He was a friend to my father. |

mr11:Please bros spare this cock and bull fairy tales. You are so economically with the truth. The denial of Igbo by some goons points directly to the Nigeria/Baifra war. The moment Biafra was the defeated, it became fashionable to deny Igbo. One Ndokwa son, Major Nzefili, who joined Nigerian Armed Forces as Igbo later denied his being Igbo after the war. |
| Re: . by Dedetwo(m): 11:19am On Jan 04, 2020 |
UdechiHD:But the bolded torments the north and southwest like a running stomach because of the perceived dominancy of Igbo in the rich defunct eastern region that will include Anioma after all. I can bet my cent that Ogoni people speak more Igbo than Igbo people speak Ogoni. I guess that must Igbo people who speak Ogoni are people from Nkwere. |
| Re: . by mr11(m): 11:35am On Jan 04, 2020 |
Dedetwo:Mr man have you being to Ndokwa land before? go to Ndokwa land speak to 10 people with Igbo language and ask them if they are Igbo I swear you will be surprise that 8 out of 10 will tell you that they are Igbo but go back or tell someone to go and meet the same 10 people and ask them the same question, you will be surprise that that they will deny,is so because of the nature of politics they find themselves into, other non Igbo tribes are looking for small thing to tell them that igbos can't take what belong to real deltas.if you are from Delta or state in Delta you will notice that the same is happening between asaba capital and warri. |

| Re: . by mr11(m): 11:53am On Jan 04, 2020 |
Dedetwo:You igbos from east are too emotional on this issue but refused to understand what happened, yes Igbo denial started after civil war,now let me ask you a question do you think their will be Igbo denial in anioma if anioma is in south east? let me tell you the truth Anambra or any south east state would have deny Igbo if they find themselves in south south. do you know what it means to be denied employment and appointments because you call yourself Igbo from south south in the mist of people that see themselves as real deltas or south south. if you are from anioma you will still do the same when you feel the pressure of being rejected.think and stop talking rubbish. |

ckenneths:This doesn't look like the usual good quality roads Enugu is known for! Just looking at it, one can tell it wouldn't last long! Even from a laymans point of view, when you see a well constructed road you will know! |

| Re: . by Ndibunna: 1:32pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
Dedetwo:War maybe the truth but not the entire truth. The politics also has a say in that. All I know is that they only allow themselves to be intimidated by minority few. Delta north is trying to give a balanced equation but others doesn't care what their intentions are. The first step is the return of Igbo language to classroom. The old fathers studied that but recent generation fought against it. |
| Re: . by Ndibunna: 1:36pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
mr11:I agree with you they do hear and understand Igbo. That's nothing to argue. |
| Re: . by Dedetwo(m): 3:03pm On Jan 04, 2020*. Modified: 8:14pm On Jan 04, 2020 |
mr11:There is nothing which will make me deny my being Igbo. Not even a firing squad. You do not have cut your nose in order to spite your face. If material thing will force a person deny his/her forbearers, the people does not deserve a pint of the air. Is Delta State in different country other than Nigeria? Ndigbo from southeast even ventured to northern region Nigeria and secured a job. I shall not absolve anybody of sin if he/she denies his/her forbearers. It is an abominable act to deny your roots or forbearers. |

aniomafirstson:No, I do not or have no reasons to lie about anybody, definitely not Macaulay Nzefili. By the way, Nzefili did not attend the rank of a General in Biafran army. In addition, I cannot remember any division or brigade or even battalion of Biafran armed forces commanded by Nzefili. There was interview Nzefili gave to Nowa Omogui where he reiterated of being Anioma peep instead of Igbo. |
