From the look of things, it seems the movie is set in the 90s or early 2000s, a pre man of steel era.

It looks like early 2000s

Or maxima, a lady who is obsessed with Superman because of his power and her nag for male superbeings as mate. Using her is actually going to place Clark in a love triangle, on one hand is Lois Lane, Clark's sweetheart and on the other hand is Maxima, a super powered female obsessed with having Superman as a mate and is willing to do anything to get him even if it means harming Lois Lane. A story like this will explore the Love story of Clark and Lois while also featuring Superman take against an obsessed villain.

A movie like this will be a Romance and Action packed CBM. Something different from the conventional CBMs.

This Maxima as a villain would have made a lot of sense. The only drawback is that she's not that mainstream. In fact, I just heard about the character today and had to go do a quick google search.

If properly written and executed, it will be a good primary plot.

There are some CBM villains that weren't known but were still used in a movie and the movies were hit e.g Obadiah stone/ ironmonger in iron man, Ivan Vanko / Whiplash in iron man 2, Aldrich Killian in iron man 3, Killmonger in black panther etc

So I don't see why Maxima can't be used, besides using her is gonna make her known.

2019 was actually a good year for DC. grossing over $1b, breaking records especially in the R-rated category, winning awards, nominated for Oscar which of course it will win etc, last year was really a good year for DC, WB and the DC Film brand.

WB/ DC be like "Just bring it on baby"

Okay, I stumbled on an article yesterday and I read that DC made the Joker movie in a bid for Joaquin Phoenix to showcase his talent and be a contender for Oscar.

The question I had in mind was, what special thing or movie did Phoenix act for DC/WB to warrant such positive action from the company

Anyone has any idea?

Who remembers when I made this comment few months ago?

Neededgist, how far? Hope you are okay?

OK, so I have just be informed that neededgist have joined the list of people I made do the Hara Kiri. Not happy with this though.

Although, I didn't expect him to take the BW vs WW84 challenge seriously.

I'll try my best this year to tone down the way I throw dangerous jabs to reduce the way people terminate their accounts (unless pushed to the wall).

Still wished he didn't do that as DC and Marvel are one in terms of CBM (Not Disney's marvel though, that company is dubious I tell ya).
