2019 was actually a good year for DC. grossing over $1b, breaking records especially in the R-rated category, winning awards, nominated for Oscar which of course it will win etc, last year was really a good year for DC, WB and the DC Film brand.

I'll try my best this year to tone down the way I throw dangerous jabs to reduce the way people terminate their accounts (unless pushed to the wall).

Still wished he didn't do that as DC and Marvel are one in terms of CBM (Not Disney's marvel though, that company is dubious I tell ya).

But you know what WB didn't blame The Kitchen's failure for it's quarterly loss unlike one entertainment company like that located in Burbank, California that blamed Dark Phoenix for it's quarterly failure (Pun Intended).

And as for the issue of comic book sales, we all know there have never been any total dominance or control by either DC or Marvel. Both brands are deeply in a tug of war or tight competition trying to beat one another but the fact is, such never led to any total dominance or control by any of them. The case is always "the i beat you today, you beat me Tomorrow" scenario. That's why DC tops Comics book sales this month, next month Marvel tops, it's really a tough battle between both brands. For Example:

DC topped Comic Book sales in May with DCeased #1. DC had six titles in the May Top 10 including Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's
Doomsday Clock #10 at #2 and Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo's Batman: Last Knight on Earth #1 at #3.
Marvel had four titles in the Top 10, including Gerry Duggan and Mike Deodato Jr.'s Savage Avengers #1 , ranked #4.

No one OUT DOs the other for a very long period of time e.g like a year. It's very rare. So in the aspect of Comic Book Sales, There is no total dominance or control by either DC or Marvel rather what we have are comic book dominance by both brands collectively and a very strong competition between them both.

So there is nothing like dwindling Comic Book Sales for DC, they made lots of sales in that category heck, Marvel also had their moment of dwindling Comic book sales.
