I have 100k to spare my Iphone 7plus battery is no longer serving me well and i want to switch to Android please anyone who know/use this phones should tell me which is better in terms of battery and overall usage

Get a Xiaomi Mi 9T from Noobody or fibonacci2526 or even a MI 9 Lite. But if you have between ur 2 shortlisted device which are great devices by the way, i would say the Redmi Note 8 cos of the unlimited support both in hardware and software.

Run away from umidigi they have quality control problems! Just check out reviews from people that bought this same product on Amazon and observe what they are all complaining about. You get peace of mind when you buy xaiomi but tweaking will get really difficult on the phone
