If you read up a book or newspaper archives on each region from 1946 up to this period, you will see that the ideologies of each ethnic group hasn’t changed much. But one thing changed, the innovative ability of the Yoruba politicians was lost after the death of Awolowo. The Western region used to be the pioneer of policies and other region most times follow the template of the SW ideas. Now with this Amotekun, the SW governors are bringing back the innovative glory of the Yorubas and other regions are following that template which is a good thing for Nigeria as a whole. There are still a lot of innovative but yet developmental projects the SW governors can collaborate on irrespective of party affiliation to put the region back in its spot as the pacesetter. 215 Likes 18 Shares |

Just like their SE counterparts, the NW want to study the operational mode of Amotekun in order to replicate same in the NW where bandits are having a free reign. Eventually we will all come to realize that we need local solution to local security problem without waiting for one guy in abuja to give orders 132 Likes 7 Shares |

This is what you get when the President's home state governor go negotiating with armed terrorists.Nothing new! The Buhari govt was already releasing alleged BH terrorists as repented/ rehabilitated terrorist while paying them staggering amount of monies as ransom.Mean- while, the reinvigorated killers simply continue the viscous cycle. 23 Likes 1 Share

Well, this still takes Nigeria back to the concept of regionalism/restructuring as this multi-complex nation is to large an entity to have the security architecture controlled by the centre. The US pattern that we adore should be applied here. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

What happen to their hisbah police? Anyway. The security outfit created by South West govs to secure the region from fulani terrorist is very commendable. Instead of individual states going it alone where it will be easy for buhari's islamist regime to attack, they cleverly decide to form a joint security force. Defence by numbers or group is the best form of defence in a country where state sponsored terrorist are destroying lives and properties. I urge states in Middle Belt, South East and South South to borrow this beautiful idea and secure their regions. If 12 northern states can unilaterally declare themselves islamic states with islamic police (Hisbah state police), then other states in Nigeria are FREE to join forces and create their own security outfits to secure lives and properties. Fulani terrorist (Armed Bandiths) are STATE SPONSORED! Always have this at the back of your mind. 34 Likes 2 Shares |

Very soon South East will copy, followed by South South and followed by Middle belt. Gradually they are establishing ethnic armed militias that would help fight the impending civil war. 45 Likes 5 Shares |

At the this point the senate should come together and see the true aspirations of the people. We want to have control of the security of the local people by the local people. True federalism should be the ultimate solution to our problems. 15 Likes 2 Shares |

Let your Hisbah police protect you from the bandits instead of acting like a moral police. Hisbah police has taken over the official duty of Allah. It’s because they are seeing free money from alcohol, prostitute, etc tax from the South to fund them. These people contribute nothing to the Nigerian Economy. Just parasites. Hypocrites. 11 Likes |
