misplaced priorities- spend more time fixing electricity in all major cities in Nigeria, then fix the road which they are trying in some areas. When electricity is stable , the businesses or companies can do well. When businesses do well, unemployment drops and there is money in the economy. When roads are goods, transportations for goods will enable businesses or companies will do well, |

Geekamon: Thankfully, we all have our different priorities in life, the president's priority is to move Nigeria forward, to boos the economy, create jobs and make sure that every Nigerian in every corner of Nigeria have access to broadband technology while your own priority is to remain in your stone age with hatred and bad bele for Nigeria and your fellow country men. |

People are calling broadband internet a ‘misplaced priority’. Only God will save Nigerians from some of you poorly educated, bush people. People are talking about transformative projects and all you can think about is to scoff at it. |

texazzpete: These are the same youths the President asked to get ready to rule Nigeria, sadly, many Nigerian youths are too ignorant, too shallow and backward to lead anything. Their primary focus is still the same hatred and bitterness they raised them with, I guess they are carrying it to their graves. |

They should finance another ppp project..... This is not our problem now. Our roads are so terrible. Better roads at this point would affect the life of common man better than this Quincykay: |

They can do more than one project at a time. Sign more than one PPP at a time. Obviously some companies see the potential in Nigerian broadband to invest in it. That doesn't stop investment in roads, agric, electricity etc. If we do one at a time, we'll never grow! joeluv: 1 Like |

Quincykay: Why should you have to explain this simple fact to supposedly educated people? India has terrible roads and power cuts. That hasn't stopped them industrializing. Even building nuclear weapons and space technology. And no one there is saying ''don't do anything else until you've fixed all the roads and everyone has 24/7 light!!'' |

A305:bros, there are guys who sit at the corner of their homes to come up with these ideas and push it through their connects. At the end of execution, everybody smiles to the bank after some months. It is one of the most lucrative but less obvious business model in Nigeria. It is damn too powerful to ignore but I would never use such power to push the idea to any political class or politicians because it gives them an avenue to siphon money. |

Re: Buhari Unveils $732 Million Broadband Project To Boost Economy - Bloomberg by Rosskii: 12:05am On Jan 12, 2020 |
starmehigh: Will the broadband not work with generator? What is your problem? Why can't you go into solar business to help provide renewable energy? Mr Complainant in chief. Lazy youths. Instead of you to see the power issue as an opportunity to be innovative, you moan all day and sit on your fat ass. |
