So yesterday at Marina inder bridge enroute Ahmadu Bello, something very funny happened.

This kabu kabu guy was loading at an illegal spot. LASTMA officials moving around in a towing van suddenly blocked him.

In my mind, I was like "Its over for this guy".

What happened next was quite intriguing and thrilling.

If not that I already saw an oily looking Yoruba guy loading the car before, I would have sworn Vin Diesel was the guy behind the wheels. cheesy cheesy cheesy

This guy quickly entered his car, switched it on, revved a little and the next thing I heard was a loud GBOWAAAAA. Wow!

This guy in one swell move, hit one of the Lastma officials onto their Towing Van and In so doing, the Lastma guy leg was severely damaged. The Kabu Kabu guy also damaged the towing Van rear light shocked shocked shocked

He revved back again and as he was charging like a Bull the second time, no be person tell other LASTMA guys to Japa... Lol. grin grin grin

O boy in all my hard man, me I jejely cleared for the road for this guy to escape wella because as am seeing the JAKPO look on his face, he was ready to level the whole Lagos to escape cheesy cheesy cheesy

The mumu guy they hit on the leg was lying on the ground vituperating in Yoruba shouting .... Egba Mi Oo Egba Mi oo.

Seems like the hit rendered there car immobile too cool cool

One LASTMA guy was trying to flag me down to carry there colleague. As I remembered all I suffered in the hands of LASTMA last year to the tune of 87k, I smiled at the guy lying on the floor and whispered softly to myself;

"EGBA MI KEE YOU DIA".

I drove on like a boss smilling like a soldier that just won a battle. The event sweet me no be small cool cool cool
Each time I come across your post, the next thing that come out of my mouth is , this angry guy don come with him wahala again oh( Bros na joke I dey )

Drivers on Indriver...How did you go past this stage?

Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by hardycross: 6:21pm On Jan 12, 2020
Good evening seniors and auto experts in the house.

I sincerely need help on this.

My KIA Cerato 2010 jerks when I start it and intermittently (a little though), a Kazeem told me I needed to change the plugs which I did but the issue persists. He later said I might have to change the coil as well.

I did a scan of the engine today and the result is what is shown in the attached picture. Kindly advise on the way forward. I have done a small Google search of the P0012 scan result and I can't find the answers in those pages.

In addition, I noticed the fuel consumption is not economical.

I'm not you people's mate at all; y'all need to start showing me some respect when you guys mention me.

Who, amongst you, can drive 275 km to and from Ibadan in 15 hours, 18 minutes?

Who, amongst you, can sit in standstill traffic for 11 hours in one day?

Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to and fro.

For example, Redeemed Camp to Berger took 3 hours - from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

It's the oil control valve acting up.

If you're lucky and it's just dirty oil and filter, option one will solve your problem. If not, option 2.
1) oil and filter change
2) replace oil control valve/vvt actuator

I don't know if any driver will do this, but not me.

A lady ordered for a ride just now at W Bar, she called, while I was trying to ask where destination is she said hold on.

Then she said do you have an ATM card with you, we need cash so we'll transfer into your account then you will help us withdraw it.

Me: Is that why you requested for a ride?

Lady: Yes.

I dropped the call and blocked her line, slide on arriving now and waiting for the count down before I cancel.

Thank you ma for your professional input. Should push comes to shove and it is option 2, what is the likely cost of the replacement of the oil control valve?

Guys should be careful with this antics. The objective is to defraud sumone and use the Uber driver as conduit pipe to cash the money. When the victim comes calling, na the beneficiary acct them go dey find not the fraudster.

Let's be smart and not allow small change create bigger problem.

No be every body know naa. Now u have told everyone the secret to opening our cars at night.
The truth is Coro thieves don't need all that wahala to steel your car or its components. The one that happened close to my house the other day, the small glass on the back door was what they broke to gain access into the car. I think there's a way they muff the sound so that its not audible.
