Rt.Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the Transportation minister & former Governor of Rivers state met with former President Goodluck Jonathan for the first time since 2015 in worth caused a frenzy for the viewing public on the Friday the 10th of January in a function in Port-Harcourt city.

This has made a lot of Political pundits to wonder why the masses are always the ones showing so much animosity even when the principals don't.

Amaechi lost out , we all know who he was , if not for the 11th hour appointment , most people don't know who Wike was..Senate house and state structure control , is the next level for most second term Govs in Nigeria, but for Amaechi , he lost both even with the ruling party...and should the APC lost the president , Amaechi will be completely dead politically because on such powers brought Wike...

Its not easy to fight a president of a country, especially a Nigerian president. The battle line was drawn and the president and his wife wanted him sacked as governor. Yhe process was not important to them, they just wanted him out of the way. It turned out a big mistake for PDP cos Ameachi then was chairman Nigeria governor forum and was powerful too. All that contributed to the defeat PDP suffered in 2015.

How many ex Governors are still relevant till date?

Tinubu is the only relevant Governor from that 1999 era,

Amaechi Fashola Akpabio and a few others are the only relevant ex Governors from 2007 era

You are not right... In 2015 , PDP won Rivers State with over 2m votes more than in 2019... Amaech only supported the APC in 2015 financially...
