Since it was last changed at 150k miles and you have add about 70k miles, I would say check your car manual or Google the manufacturer's recommended transmission fluid change interval and do accordingly.

5w20, but i will suggest you use 5w30. I will take engine protection over energy conservation .

I use a corolla S 2009... car recently threw up a P0420 code.... was erased and i noticed that when ever i drive up to 80Kmph the light comes on..... if i reset it, it stays off until i get around 80kmph and the check light comes on with the P0420 code..... please advice

A friend based in Abuja Toyota camry 2004 gears skips, the gear expert who was called on told them it was his brain box that was faulty. They tried several brain box and one worked with the gear selecting very well but the car ac not working. I advised him not to change the brain box yet cos the ac will be converted to manual, the ac never been worked on before now.
Please what could be the problem? No electrical work or connection was done on the car to make the Ecu go bad.

2003 Toyota Corolla - vehicle was in motion and then there was a loud noise (like something cut) and next thing, gear wasn’t responding again.

It selects from inside the car but no movement.

I salute thee. I really hope I can have an answer to my questions real soon before my car breaks down totally.

I use a Honda Baby Boy. When i move the gear to Reverse and Drive , the car jerks really hard. Also, when the car is on motion, there is an obvious delay in transmission between gears - sometimes it gets to 5000rpm before it shifts.

Second challenge is that whenever I put on the AC, the vehicle vibrates until i move and whenever i have to come to a complete halt (say in traffic) the vibration starts over.

I would really appreciate your thoughts on these and likely solutions.

confirm the timing belt snapped, if it snapped, take off the heads and determine what was damaged, evaluate the cost of repairing the engine vs the cost of replacement engine + timing belt kit.

Thanks Boss. Turned out nothing happened to the timing belt. The road side kazeem wanted to combine my inexperience with the late night time and use my head. Luckily I got someone better. It was just fan belt, leaking oil seal and Low Battery.

However, I did a scan and these error codes came out:

Abeg, it's a vw tiguan 2010. Any specialists in the house, pls help?
