what happened was inexcusable regarding the shooting down of the plane and I feel that the only way forward is to offer full and commensurate compensation for the families of the individuals involved. may God almighty rest their souls. a similar incident happened in 1988 when USS Vincennes shot down Iran Air Flight 655 and till date the US Government has never accepted responsibility, although the settled the relatives involved to the tune of over $100m.

but to say USA is not an enemy of Iran or the Iranian people shows how daft whoever made such a statement is. the USA and its allies have continually imposed sanctions on the Islamic republic of Iran since 1979, for what you may ask, for the fact that they seized the initiative to direct the affairs of their country as they deemed fit.

these sanctions have actually affected the poorest and middle class citizens of this country more than they have affected the elite class and I do not know whatelse Iran has done other than maintain their right to be a sovereign nation. agreed they have sponsored proxy groups that fight for iranian interests the world over but is that not what other countries do all in the name of maintaining a stranglehold on the world. all is fair in love and war. one side does not have a right to accuse the other of wrong doing especially when the accuser is as bad as the accused.

and the plane would never have been shot down in the first place if Trump had not killed the General and escalated tensions in that region.

For you to think all Iranians sleep and face one direction is unbelievable. Not all Iranians love their government. The protest has continued today again. The level of crowd I see following this protest is beyond western sponsored crowd. These are good Iranian people unlike the terrorist ones. I saw people destroying Suleiman’s billboard portrait on the street. But the fake news media made us to believe everyone loved Suleiman.
I saw a woman protester reportedly shot in the leg by Iranian police. This looks like Arab spring revolution. You need to see the level of the protest to realize that it’s not just a couple of hundreds people. The crowd is massive. Good Iranians are asking questions unlike sheepish Nigerians being servile to politicians.

Who is in charge of your local government? Who is your governor? Why are they building their personal mansions while your roads, schools & hospitals are bad? Who is your state assembly rep, your federal rep, your senator? Why are they fighting for their pockets & not your constituencies?

When we sort out the enemies within then we can easily & cohesively address the national issues. We can't keep on doing the same thing for 60 years & expect a different result.
