Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has explained why his administration is constructing a new office complex for the state Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

The Governor said the existing office of the revenue body was totally confusing, with limited parking space and offices for its officials.

Governor Akeredolu, who inspected the progress of work at the construction site of the new office complex on Monday afternoon, said the need to create a conducive atmosphere in order to improve the productivity of the revenue officers informed the move to construct a new office complex.

According to the Governor, the new office complex will house banks, trainning complex, big hall for meetings and conferences with a wide parking space among others.

The Governor believes that the new complex and the facilities provided in it will enable the officers perform optimally.

Please don't compare Governor Akeredolu with any Governor when it comes to infrastructural development in Nigeria. Governor Akeredolu is constructing new roads including rehabilitation of federal roads despite the fact he faced the challenge of 6 months salary arrears and pension left behind by his predecessor when he assumed office. No Governor in Ondo State has constructed more roads than Governor Akeredolu even though he has just spent 3years in Government. Have you seen what he's doing at Ore? The Ore Flyover Project?

Waste of public funds, waste of resources and a huge waste of sense on his white head.

They are plethora of viable projects to spend money on in the state not building office for tax collectors. Where was the state revenue office located, or were their staffs sitting under mango tree to perform their duties?

Governors should learn how to manage scarce resources and allocate same effectively. This to my opinion a white elephant project and a wise governor shouldn't have started this now.

His wife Betty has never missed out on constituting nuisance by steadily assaulting and insulting students not just in the state but in ekiti state too.
What happened to the usual Christmas bonus Ondo state workers hitherto his tenure enjoyed?
Akeredolu has repeatedly insulted Ondo state's obas and he threatened to level a part of the state if anyone dared to challenge him just like his Master Bubu is doing to the Easterners.

I don't even have to stress myself to know you're one of the lazy youths who do nothing but sit online to concoct lies against public officials. What does Ondo State Governor’s wife has do with Ekiti state? Not everyone is as delusional and misguided as you are, man.

3 years ago, the workers in Ondo State celebrated Christmas without their salary and were owed about 6 months salary arrears until Governor Akeredolu came in and cleared everything but you are here crying about the bonus that would soon be paid. You're just a bitter and disgruntled soul.
