This is the stupid argument people always use on nairaland as if having massive land means anything in this 21st century.

Singapore is an island city-state nation the same landmass as Uyo Town . Rwanda is the same landmass as Calabar(Akwa ibom state and southern cross river state ) Rwanda generates $900 million dollars per year . Calabar generates $15 Billion dollars per year from oil alone though ends up receiving only $500 million dollars due to being part of Nigeria's unity system. If Singapore and Rwanda were part of Malaysia and Congo respectively ,they would be underdeveloped.
Rwanda's population is $13 million while Calabar's population is 4 Million . If autonomous, the place would be a paradise and all citizens would receive free housing ,food ,education,healthcare ,and monthly allowance. it's a shame .

With all this injustice against your people, you still support one Nigeria? SMH. if anything, its people of your region should be the ones fighting to leave this country.

Malaysia allowed Singapore to go when they realized that their union was not working.

Biafrans realized the same and decided to leave but Nigerians murdered them and forced them back.

Now we are all stuck in a deteriorating British created country.

Some people like it that way and hope to keep it that way forever.

To be honest with you, most Nigerians are passsive towards authority and are scared to challenge the status quo.

The few brave ones that stand up to injustice are ganged up on immediately.
