Imagine going on a date and the first question they ask you is do you have GC?? It annoying tbvh
Dating in US it's easy to check on the person. If you are legal, small background check shows your car, house, family members, the address and previous addresses where you lived.. Usually, if we start dating in person, we check and we know what education, job and real address this person has. Some on the 1st date ask where are you from and how long are you living in US. What is your job or profession. Easy to know who is who.

The dangerous thing nowadays is the law, helping or covering an illegal / undocumented alien it's a crime and anybody knowing the person is illegal / undocumented can go to jail for helping or harboring.

A lot of folks do not know that Nigeria actually works. I went to Federal schools all my life and from an early age my parents will always tell us if we set ourselves to stand out we will NEVER have to lobby for anything in Nigeria and its the true story
Even today I still see folks in this same naija, young educated and super brilliant from indigent and poor backgrounds with almost better story than mine and they doing great
Not all these japa nonsense that kids and adults are now involved in
Go the the Midwest you will see Yoruba women who have big businesses in Eko working "under the table" in factories.
It is sick to watch them Bad mouth their home country .you tell me how this person or group of people excel ? There are so many young people like that hopeless and scattered all over the USA
It makes me sick
This is the surprising miracle of Nigeria! Some kids don't have even enough food but are growing up not only physically fit and tall, handsome but also with great intelligence, integrity and brain.

And yes, bad mouth on the home country it's disgusting, it's the same as a bad mouth on their own mothers.

This is a misrepresentation. an employee may be liable for hiring an illegal but not necessarily an illegal alien living in a resident/citizen's home

No. Normal stay is from few days up to 6 Months. If the Immigration Officer see the person as a possible overstay or just see it's not necessary for 2 days conference to stay 6 months, or in the previous visit this person stayed 6 months or extended his/her stay for 6 months more, or IO suspects you come, stay 4-6 months working illegally, then come back again and again, or sometimes they follow the US government untold policy - reduce the tourists stay, send back 30%-40% African visitors, etc., then there is No Admission or the 30 days admission and the stamp No AOS. I don't know how many possibilities they have but I saw the admission stamp 30 days, 60 days and 6 months (it says from this to that date) and I saw No AOS stamp too. Usually No AOS stamp is given to a tourist visiting his/her fiance(e), sometimes parent of US citizen or anybody IO believes they can stay and fix AOS inside US.
The No Aos stamp is the border inspectors opinion. It doesn't mean the person can not change status. The CBP may put the No Aos,No COS,OR NO EOS stamp on the visa if they suspect the person but ultimately that decision still lies with the USCIS whether to honour it or not. They can still allow the person to adjust if they want to.But the stamp does influence their decision sometimes

You are right. But having this stamp, USCIS usually question and delay more this applicant. Also there is the 90 days rule. If the person arrived and applied for AOS before 90 days stay, he/she could be denied based on that.

The problem is that this decay is before 2015 if I'm right.... e don tey and anybody pinning his/her hope on any person/President in Nigeria is on a long thing, let us not let our hate blind us, this country will get it right one day not because of one person but because of stronger institution... till then.

Hmmm... you're right though.

However, your Abuja connect might a times try to cover-up the real challenges that people who don't live in Abuja are really facing.

it's not about Abuja Connect, just know that everybody will not leave this country, some people are richer and better than us and still believe in this country.

I was given a b1b2 visa 2 years ago and its about to expire, so i applied for a renewal.

I have visited the US 3times on the visa for 4weeks on each visit and 6 weeks for one visit. All visits to attend an exhibition.

I hope for a seamless interview but Pls are there any questions i have to look out for?

Okay sir, copied!

I got into Toronto a few days ago, on holidays, will be in the US for some time too from next week, come and see "saner climes" na. I just picked up my gadget now to update myself about home. I'm phased, annoying news everywhere. Amotekun, what about it? What happened in Imo today please? I just hope I'm able to see my kids through Secondary School before shipping them out of Nigeria to their "homes", I pray. I have put too much in Nigeria, it saddens me today. Government has never put bread directly on my table, an enabling environment created by them in time past deserves my appreciation today when I reason them side by side this current one.

I won't waste energy right now saying much, but I will just say you guys are the biggest problem of Nigeria, Buharists particularly! Yeah, Nigeria is messed up long ago, but Buhari is the greatest disservice done our dear nation. Nigeria's "turn-around-maintenance" after him will take decades. Kill and shelve that nonsense hope of a better Naija, only a miracle will make that happen, please....

With all due respect.
Agreed.

But if I may ask, is UAE a third world war country compared to Nigeria ?

Leave story there... Nigeria will be great tho but think outside the box... When ?

We live in world where things are done super fast and the world has evolved so fast. I can remember when I was still young... what a computer looks like... what a phone looks like... Now embassy get fingerprint... Limited paper but everything is electronically communicated.

UAE gain independence 1971, Nigeria 1960

I don't know what to think of the elderly ones sef.

What do we have to show for ? Reproduction cos our population is increasing drastically... That's another joke for the decade. grin

If Nigeria is good, nobody will go overseas. Americans don't travel. Statistically, less than 5% of the population travels. So all of you saying, Nigerians are these and that... the best advice right here is that come home and setup a business here because we have the market already and don't work for the Oyinbos again. If I hear you come home.. grin All you do is social media gragra... You spoiling our names....story for the forefather who left through the badagry during the slave trade era. And they sold our fathers who might have built Nigeria to be like them cry

Don't forget the exchange rate oh... I have heard people who works with Oil company japa sef...
His Excellency GCFR M. Buhari goes to UK for medicals... So who are you then ? Let me burst your bubbles again, UK has a better healthcare system than US but because of the dual citizenship, people opted for US and Canada.

I have always said this. Please don't misuse your visa but if you want to do... All the best for you. I'm not in support PLEASE.

My advice, do what's best for you and be good. You will not live forever. Enjoy while it last. I come in peace.

Nigeria will be giant of Africa again... when our brothers and sister in diaspora comes back and denounce the other party undecided
