Lolz @ retributive justice!!

Who comitted a crime here? And where is the proportionality in this judgement?

PDP and INEC did. the highest rigger being pdp miscalculated. they weren't smart with it. so technically the no of votes dubiously generated by pdp were added to apc candidate. that's a retribution.

By the way, bo votes from PDP was removed and added to the APC candidate. Apparently, non collated votes were added to the APC.

it's lyk giving fair hearing to the poor. uzodinma was the poor here and it's technical cos it was a unanimous decision. the law is blind and the it prevailed on the premise of the last hope of the common man

To start it and before we comment further,
Can you please explain what you mean by annoying ma'm?!
We will be waiting.
Thanks.

Modify : Okay we gerrit now.
You are one of the very few members we respect on this forum (especially on the food section and due to the fact that many of your posts make a whole lot of sense here, which is a kinda fresh air to all the negativity flying everywhere on this forum on a daily basis).
Normally, if some people will see as nonentities brought up such foul, provoking words such as you just used, we ignore them 100% of the time.
But we can see this will be the first time you'll be quoting us on any political thread.
We are suprised to see you come up with such words,
just because we don't support the same candidate!
Long story short,
We are a group of people that respect women so much on this forum and off this forum, (especially the ones that respect themselves!)
We rather let them be and don't argue back&forth with them.
We respect them a lot, cos they are an integral part of us.
So to set the record straight, kindly watch the words you used on @ on this section.
We will want to take this as a slip in emotions,
We don't do this often,
But out of respect for you as a married woman,
We have to.
And if you want to see yourself as an antagonist,
Bring it on!
Respect is reciprocal.
We Rise!

Addendum: we actually gave you a whole 3 minutes of our precious time to type this.
That shows how much we respect you.
Peace out!

This guy is dumb. The court simply agreed that the results from 388 PU's where Hope Uzodinma won but we're not added to the tally (unlawfully). should have been added.
When the results from these 388 PU's were added, he had the majority of lawful votes cast and has also fulfilled all the other constitutional requirements. Therefore he is the winner.

Although the full judgement has not been made to the public but What should be in the mind of an objective person is
1. Why was it initially excluded.
2. Who excluded the results
3. Were the results signed off by the parties/inec
4. Were the results reconciled to voided votes
5. How come a massive 338 PU were excluded
6. Can the election materials be examined to affirm this results.
7. Could have be a posibility of a rerun election in those units.
8. What is lawful and unlawful result.

Electoral judgements in Nigeria will always leave much to be desired. Until we moved to more verifiable and a better reformed election process, we continue to have thieves govern us without fear of removal.

You should be smarter than this.

Read the Supreme Court judgement. No. You won’t but you’d jump on a drop outs(dejis) tweet and start forming king Kong.

236,600 votes from 218 polling units were already counted and recorded to belong to hope uzodima. So there no possibility others will share from it. It was merely excluded during collation and the Supreme Court ordered it to be added back. Simple.

If at this stage of your life, you can still come online and write that INEC is controlled by FG then you need to re-evaluate your entire existence.

Lets even assume he won in the other 318 but the question is that, does it mean the other candidates didn't get any votes in those unit?
What matters most is that he Uzodinma, has duplicates of the forms EC8A which contains results from every pooling units, this is the reason political parties are duely represented via party agent during election. He provided those forms as proves which the tribunal kept as exhibit. All these were presented to the supreme court. My brother I was even surprised Ihedioha won. That we don't want Okorocha and his son inlaw does not mean we don't want Uzodinma. Is not about party affiliation but interest. Orlu zone has the numbers plus 12lga out of 27lga, you now see why orlu zone always win. Check from 1999 till date, Okigwe zone did only 4 years and the rest is Orlu zone, what does that tell you? It will change only if the three zones agrees to rotation but its not feasible cuz we are all Igbos, unlike some states where you have different tribes lumped together. Ihedioha nearly brought division in Imo state, instead of continuity, he was busy destroying projects done by his predecessor and at the same fighting him and his family. To make matters worse, we started hearing things like mbaise nwere mmadu and all that. Did you here such thing as Ideato or Ogboko nwere mmadu in Rochas administration? The two oil producing zone in Imo state, is in Orlu zone yet no one is making noise about it. All of a sudden mbaises became owners of Imo state mtchww. My brother, Imo state belongs to all Imolites!

Party aside at least for once Nigerians. I'm yet to comprehend how a once respected supreme court judges would assume that the so called 388 units votes were for Uzodinma. Someone that didn't even came second?
Not to even talk of how Nwosu hurriedly withdrew.

What is left again in Nigerian judicial system?

That there in is the argument, if your votes are illegally cancelled by INEC for any reason, it simply requires the plaintiff to seek a judgement overturning the decision of INEC to validate those votes.

It's simple maths. I'll head over to the INEC website to see the results of the Imo state elections to make sense of it. All this info is available online

Who told you that? How will a sane person believes that the vote omitted was higher than the vote of the person declared winner?

The person declared winner won because those votes were omitted. The supreme Court did not manufacture votes all they did was over-rule INEC's decision to invalidate certain polling units 318 of them for which Hope won a greater number of votes. I would expect a statement from INEC and a review of the ballot that should show an increase in total votes for all contestants

Good. We are here to enlighten ourselves. Thanks for your input. Now if we are to go accordingly to what the returning officer said;

https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/breaking-ihedioha-wins-imo-gov-elections-polls-273404/amp/

He said, “We have been working since Saturday to elect a credible governor for Imo State. The total registered voters is 2,221,008; Accredited voters is 823,743.

“The total votes cast is 714,35; rejected votes 25,130; total valid votes is 739,485.”

Now if you deduct the vote casted from the accredited voters, you will still not get the margin the so called Hope later got from the SC.

It's so sad we kept ridiculing ourselves as a nation. We should all be an advocate of good governance. This present administration is something else, won't lie to you.

Note: the vote casted as 714,355 was shared accordingly and not that there was an omission. My concern is how did Hope later got his own 216k votes added to his previous 90+ votes? This judgement is purely sham

You're not making any sense and just clutching at straws! So because APC can't get its act together and conduct 'valid primaries', INEC should spend more money and time conducting the entire election again? Probabaly the useless supreme court will just ask them (APC) to say sorry to INEC and promise not to do it again! And i suppose if they miss the mark yet again and again.....not conducting 'valid primaries', INEC will conduct fresh elections for each subsequent fuc/k up! Just listen to yourself!

Mr man,

It is not my job to be guessing the minds of judges and lawyers, etc.

And that is exactly my point: this judgement is so consequential and at face value can essily be misconstrued by so many people, not least some people that may want to ferment trouble. And in a big way.

Shouldnt their Lordships have taken the time to write the decision and share so the guessing game is reduced?

First, my name isn't Mr Man. U may address me with my moniker or not address me at all. We are not fighting.

Reason for judgement is stated in the news. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/01/imo-why-supreme-court-sacked-ihedioha-declared-uzodinma-winner/.

Written judgements of courts must be released not later than 3months of conclusion of a case. There's a supreme Court ruling on this.

What is the guessing game u re referring to?
