It is unarguably true that from a self-made city, Uyo has rapidly and strategically grown to become one of the most beautiful, peaceful, green and fastest growing cities in Nigeria thanks to the recent huge investments in industrialization, technology, travels and tourism which has clearly positioned the city for more immigrations thereby creating a strong demand for massive investment in housing and real estate. With six airline flying daily to Uyo, a state owned airline ibom air which makes Uyo one of Nigeria most accessible cities and the Ibaka Deep Seaport project underway, certainly sure is the fact that the rate of development, commerce, immigration and industrial revolution etc will certainly if not more, triple. It is then pertinent that developers take advantage of the relatively low cost of land and building materials, prepare and abreast themselves of the massive inflow of cash awaiting to rain. At Verdict NG, we are committed to ensuring investors in this sector don't have anything to worry about in the bid to acquire lands anywhere in Uyo. https://cdn-af.feednews.com/news/detail/38b18bc732255def3b3093424fc0fc8b

World Class roads but no cars. It's high time Akwa Ibom took a break in infrastructural development and focus on empowerment / human capital development |

Staro:I swear! Skills acquisition centres, massive scholarship, science parks, mechanized farming etc should be the priority of Akwa Ibom state government. Forget all these things you are seeing Udom is a failure. Imagine spending 45m dollars to build a market in a Eket that is dead. Who will pay for the rent? Who curse black man! |

NigeriaIsDoomed:Eket is dead because you said so? Lol if the Chinese investor can bring the largest chinese market in Africa to Eket, a $100million investment. That should tell any serious business person what eket is about. Not your uninformed opinion. Do you know business more than the Chinese? You should check yourself, your are dead, your vision, hope and outlook in life is dead that why you are projecting death . Eket is alive and well for your information check https://www.nairaland.com/4777724/ultra-modern-17000-seater-eket https://www.nairaland.com/5005546/eket-urban-renewal-update-new https://www.nairaland.com/5188252/updates-eket-urban-renewal-akwa |

For the person saying eket is dead show me any state or city outside Lagos that has attracted these kind of massive Chinese trade investment. This Chinese Chinese yiwu international market in Nigeria is currently under construction in eket. Phase 1 Will be completed 2 quarter 2020. If eket was dead why will a Chinese company be investing $100million dollars in building this market? For some of you ignorance is bliss.

Atouke:Certainly, Akwa Ibom is blessed but Nigeria is already doomed unless you are blind. Bandit, Fulani herdsmen, Boko haram, politicized and bastardized judiciary, epileptic power supply , high level of corruption everywhere, poverty capital of the world, and on the scale of Human Development Index Nigeria is doomed. You will curse the wicked rulers the day you leave the shores of the zoo until then enjoy your zoo. |

Staro:Interesting point of view. Do you mean encouraging immigration to the state? ie making it more cosmopolitan like Lagos. There would have to be job growth that could aid that. |

Atouke:Don't mind them, they're jealous of the developments, if you ask where he's from now e go be Abia or imo, one thing I love about Aks is the road network and the fact that there are no hawkers makes the roads clean |

I have a personal list of 10 lucrative businesses that can generate consistent cash flow for you in this in Akwa Ibom. They can also sustain you even when you decide to stay outside Akwa Ibom. I’ve compiled the list into a PDF e-book format so you can easily download it into your phone or laptop. These are 10 lucrative businesses I’ve studied since I moved to Akwa Ibom in 2006. They’ve been doing well since 2006 and they will still do well even in 2025 and beyond. They are inflation proof. I’ve seen them do well under rain and sun in this Akwa Ibom. You don’t even need to be there all the time if you’re the busy or lowkey type. Someone can run it for you while you come later in the day to collect your profits and give them their commission. Out of this 10 lucrative businesses, I’ve started just 2. These are the lucrative businesses that have been funding my lifestyle since I started staying in Uyo. There’s no point being selfish, that’s why I decided to share them with you… go here to read more: https://selar.co/business-uyo P. S. You have to act quick because I’ll soon stop giving access to the PDF e-book so that too many people will not cast these valuable updates. Act now. Don’t miss out!
