ÀMỌ̀TẸ́KÙN is not a duplication or replacement for the Nigeria Police but was established to complement the existing security agencies.

ÀMỌ̀TẸ́KÙN is a model open to public scrutiny in improving the quality of the protection of the people

The Ekiti State Governor and Chairman, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, yesterday disclosed that the national security agencies were properly informed before the establishment of the South-West security outfit.

He said the conventional security agencies were carried along and had agreed to support the operation of the joint security organisation

That Malami is a typical example of the type of incompetent, irrational and bigotry advice General Buhari must have been getting from his advisers.

Goes to show that this government is disjointed and don't exchange information. How on earth is Malami not in the know, and yet instead of asking still came out publicly to exhibit his ignorance and foolishness?

Hisbah (which is absolutely criminal in nature. The Sharia law in some parts of the north is less than customary law in power. The Constitution of NIgeria empower any NIgerian to live a circular life anywhere within the country. It's criminal to arrest a non Moslim for drinking or enacting any law for a non Moslim anywhere within the NIgeria state), Civilian JTF (who are heavily armed by the way) and now Àmòtékùn are indication of failed NIgeria system. When tribe, religion and class gets preference in judgement, such a state is heading towards doom. The hypocrisy of Buhari and his Fulani hegemony prompted the need for Àmòtékùn.

The economic value of these marauder herders is very limited. How much bovines will they sell to pay the salary of ONLY primary school teachers in a state? Yet they have caused most of the crises in the NIgeria and responsible for more death than Ebola, without means to disarm them and prosecute them.

There are no proper consultations about this Amotekun even though the idea is brilliant..

Fayemi is too ambitious ... Why will Ogun and Lagos state back out all of a sudden? Why are Tinubu, Osinbajo, Obasanjo not saying anything about this?

We shouldn't be carried away..

ÀMỌ̀TẸ́KÙN simply means ARMOURED TROOPS.
MILITIAS in disguise.
Never will it happen, its dead on arrival. Exact replica of OPC of yesteryears. Bombing upandan, harassment here and there. Abegi

Blue3k:

Nothing seems to be working here in Nigeria. The governors got clearance from the office of the National security adviser .
The Amotekun initiative wasn't an overnight thing . They've been planning for it for at least 6 months .
The brouhaha that trailed its commencement was uncalled for.
It was all the news about 2 or 3 months ago when the 6 South western states contributed 20 vehicles each. Why the sudden uproar from the usual suspects

I'm sure the national security adviser caliphate which had hitherto given the initiative a clean bill of health reconsidered their stance after considering the over reaching implications of the Amotekun on the restructuring of Nigeria which they vehemently oppose.

In any case, what is sauce for goose is sauce for gander . If Hisbah ( that even arrested a policeman...lol) and civilian JTF aren't against the law of the land , then Amotekun has come to stay too.
The caliphate and their uncle tom enablers amongst us can go fvck themselves .

We won't compromise on the security of our ancestral land and her people . We won't allow you lots turn our land into a killing field .
We shall defend our land with the last drop of our blood.

Tinubu and the 3 idiotic governors of Ogun, Lagos and Osun should take note . They shouldn't dare go against the will of the majority of our people lest they suffer the wrath of the people .
Oodua agbe wa oo

They know. It is their stock in trade to annoy with irrational positions on issues with a view to achieving a preconceived end! The South have been their mule and meal ticket for as long as one can remember and the North is not about to untie and let the mule go without more!

What people don’t really know is that the are ona kakanfo (Warrior General of the odua land) is the conveyer of this ‘amotekun’ of a thing...

He has conveyed security issues to the leaders of SW and by tradition they are bound to support him; whether anyone likes or not....

Amotekun goes beyond a security outfit. Its one of the cards that will determine 2023 Politics and also a long game plan for Resource control and Regionalism.

This is why the Big Guys up north will do anything to frustrate it..

I'm really waiting for Tinubu comment and side.
