Finallydead:The foundation stones of Christianity after the Chief Cornerstone himself (Jesus Christ) are the twelve Apostles of the lamb! Revelations 21:14 Jesus never appointed a single female to lead amongst his own followers, so do not be deceived by whatever sign you see in their midst, any spirit doing that today is the Antichrist Sir! Galatians 1:8 ![]() |

Finallydead:Thanks my friend. I was only careful not to appropriate a specific calling to my friend. I certainly know she was called as an evangelist, for other callings I wouldn't say I am sure. There was a point in my life when I averaged at least 20 personal evangelistic outreaches to individuals per week. But I certainly know that I am not an evangelist by calling: I was just acting in the office of the evangelist because God gave me the opportunity to witness. Certainly, there is no spiritual gift or calling that is exclusive to men. And God can make a woman an Apostle, Prophet or Teacher |

shadeyinka:Since it's not WRITTEN in God's word that Jesus (God's only begotten son) chose a FEMALE Apostle, anyone who doesn't want to fall into the group of WORKERS OF INIQUITY must stick to what's found WRITTEN in God's word! Matthew 7:23 |

Maximus69:We are foundationally different. You believe that the gifts and calling of God has ceased. I believe the gifts and calling of God continues till Christ comes. 1Cor 12:28-31: "And God has set some in the church , first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? But covet earnestly the best gifts : and yet show I to you a more excellent way." 1Cor 12:7,11: "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit with. … But all these works that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will ." Do you imply that there are spiritual gifts or callings that are exclusive to men? Following your logic: Jesus didn't choose a female Apostle. And He also didn't choose a Caucasian, African, Asian or Arab Apostle. And Jesus didn't appoint women as Prophets either. And Jesus didn't appoint women to teach. Therefore only Jews can be called by Christ Jesus.!!! This is a faulty logic. The Holy Spirit gives as He Will His gifts and callings |

One of my neighbours, a once very athletic, sporty man, energetic and outgoing man, out of the blues, got bedevilled/afflicted with stroke. The man, though now recovering, is a shadow of his former self. In my estimation, he probably now, is somewhere between 30-45% of what he formerly was and the improvement's partly down to physiotherapy etcetera involving and/or requiring strenuous effort that I could see on his face when I bump into him doing his daily learning how to walk again exercises etcetra, that it is difficult and tiring. Now you guys, will say his missus, as in, his wife, can not and/or should not teach this man anything at all, lol. She should not lead in prayers worship etcetera in their household, even when there was a time this man even lost his speech, smh. I just tire for all una, smh, 'far to see" bunch of Pharisees. Case in point, Zipporah, when her husband failed, wasted no time in taking the lead in something spiritual and that is a commanded religious rite demanded by God. I have earlier intimated and advanced that the woman has been absolved by Jesus. God, as a matter of fact did so, when Jesus asked her the following questions: "Woman, where are your accusers, Where are they? Is there no one left to condemn you?" The Woman then said, "No one, Lord." and after which, Jesus then said, "I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more." So, if after 2000 years of that, women are still having a hard time, then who is to blame, huh? It definitely is not God, lol, solite3, BlueAngel444 and Co. The classic finger pointing game is on, eh, lol, but what you guys dont seem to notice is that three other fingers are pointing back at you and the fourth at the spot you are standing on, lol. Discrimination, on varying levels is rife, lol, if not, its veiled, sometimes its pretence that its not there, but the thing itself speaks, the thing speaks for itself, the evidences and facts speak for themselves, lol, especially when we still have the likes of the solite3, BlueAngel444 and Co of this world, slipping on that 1 Timothy 2:12 banana skin, and still whole world wide, accusing and condemning the woman. |

BlueAngel444:Is this a comment or a question? I don't see what marriage has to do with God selecting a female for His work |
| Re: Should Women Become Pastors by Nobody: 9:26am On Jan 18, 2020 |
solite3:God's word is straight forward even the simple trusting the Spirit of God can understand it. God's word doesn't change, if it does that makes him a liar Priests - males Kings - males It's pride that makes a man want to be god or a woman want to be a man or even god. what is male dominance self, can the head exist with a body or the body exist without a head. The example to follow numerously mentioned is that of Jesus, male and the church, female. Devil likes disorder, he thrives in it. There's a reason God made and kept it the way He says it should be and because people don't understand they fight it n try to change it. When God made them he made them helpers |

BlueAngel444:You guys are condeming women to the "backroom". You guys are turning the hand of the clock backwards, and backwards to the dark ages. The woman has since 2000 years ago plus been liberated, but it has been an arduous uphill task for them to take their rightfully positioning because of men like you lot. You all are hiding and taking cover behind proof-texting and misinterpreted scriptures. No woman can wrongly teach a man who has studied to present himself approved to God, because He would have seen the error a mile off, thwart it and correct the woman. This is what God expects men to do, and not to be pompous, be saying a woman cant teach a man. I wonder what would have happened to Apollos if he had rebuffed Priscilla, stick his fingers in his ears and not learn from what she had to tell/teach him, lol. BlueAngel444:Mr BlueAngel444 you are very adept at twisting scripture. I leave it in your capable hands to continue twisting them as you have a hard time understanding the spiritual undertones therein |

Finallydead:I want to ask you, where did paul's teaching came from? Paul was surrounded by other apostles including Peter,James and John and all of them agreed to his teaching and jos calling so paul's teaching are scriptural if you dont agree with it throw your bible away. Secondly, you said paul was not speaking literally to women, so tell me how did you come about this? So when paul taught that husband is the head of the wife it was figurative? When he taught that women should dress moderately it was figurative? Pls go and sleep. |

MuttleyLaff:Prophets were sent to Kings in Israel to deliver messages on what God (whose words have not been compiled into one big volume like what we have today called Bible) had for them as instruction! For instance, Deborah the prophetess (FEMALE) served as a judge in Israel back then, a position of authority over the MEN of Israel! But when God began anointing Kings for his people, no woman was ANOINTED as King! Jesus also NEVER chose a FEMALE apostle and it was WRITTEN that those going to heaven will serve as Kings and Priests! Revelations 5:10, 20:6 Jesus emphatically told them that their human nature can't go to heaven, so they'll be transformed into spirit beings (who were all known to be MALES) for there has never been a time an angel appeared in FEMALE form! Certainly those going to heaven includes FEMALES, but when they get to heaven they'll all become one gender. Meanwhile while they're still on earth, the women must accept God's judicial decision regarding headship, ONLY MALES ARE GIVEN THE PRIVILEGED TO TAKE THE LEAD on earth! ![]() |

Finallydead: solite3:solite3, answer the question FinallyDead asked you nah. Do you think Apostle Paul letters were not places specific and that they are a blueprint , serving as the doctrine of Christ for future generations, hmm? solite3:When God said, Ephraim, is God's first born, same way Israel is God's first borm, same way David is God's first born., is that figuratively or literally. Zipporah, when her husband failed, and she wasted no time in taking the lead in something spiritual and that is a commanded religious rite demanded by God. There is a time and place for a woman to rightfully take the lead regardless of the man being the head. Capisce? Maximus69:Mr smug smile, I bet you'll have it in for Zipporah for taking the lead, lol. |

Finallydead:all these guys u are quoting are rigid and never entertain anyone's opinion... the explanation that women are controling and they will be saved by practical child birth is the must absurd thing I've ever heard from a person who claims he has understanding of God's word.. ..there's no point arguing with them... wateva u say is wrong as long as u don't belong to their denomination.. they are the only ones with true application and interpretation of scripture and going to heaven ....its not really their fault anyways ....thats what they are told in their gatherings... |

BlueAngel444:I m tired of these people. Twisting facts is their trade. There is no place where it was stated that any woman was an apostle or a pastor, what we have today is just people allocating positions themsleves because they feel their worth is the title they hold. Imagine people calling themselves general Apostle, Most high priest, Bishop of the whole world, Apostle of the universe, most senior highest General overseer of church etc. They appear bigger than life, nobody want to humble themselves as Christ did oh I forgot times have changed, they fight for position and can even kill for it forgetting that in the kingdom of God it is not the position you hold that matters but how you serve. The disciples of Jesus faught for who will be the greatest in the kingdom of God but Jesus brought out a little child into their midst showing them what it means to be great. Greatness is the ability to humble yourself before God and obey his instructions. I m not saying any woman who takes the position of being a pastor is going to hell, no! If she is born again and ignorantly takes on that position she would be building on a wrong foundation. Working for God is like running a race in an olympic competition. It is not enough to just run, you must run according to the rules of the game and you must continue to the end else no matter how you laboured you will simply be disqualified. |

MuttleyLaff:If Jehovah's Witnesses say they're not worshiping with you people because you're drifting away from the TEACHINGS of Christ, you will say they're forming holier than thou! Don't forget that we are not talking about any of ancient prophets here or how the Israelites go about the OLD COVENANT which has been abolished Sir! Jeremiah 31:34 WE ARE DISCUSSING ABOUT THE FOUNDATION STONES LAID DOWN BY GOD'S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON! Matthew 10:2, Revelations 21:14 Well God spoke to those Israelites in DIFFERENT ways before the coming of Jesus (his only begotten son), now we are to focus on Jesus' WORDS, THOUGHTS and ACTIONS! Hebrew 1:1-2 So if you are for Christianity and not Judaism, the arrangement laid down by Jesus should be paramount in your heart! He chose ONLY MALES to lead his own congregation, any contrary arrangement is UNCHRISTIAN Sir! Galatians 1:8 ![]() |

Maximus69:My friend Maximus69, will anyone flog or beat you if you have a better understanding or interpretation of scriptures not taught in the Kingdom Hall? According to Matthew 10:2, the Lord Jesus Christ has already chosen His Apostle, but why did He also made some to be Apostles again in Ephesians 4:11? Did He forget or was He missing words? Maximus69:The Kingdom Hall/Jehovah witness interpretation of major doctrines in Christendom has always been skewed. So I am not surprise when Maximus69 is proving same. But the way you cunnily dodge that question is awe. Bros you are smart! But since you have not answered my question here It comes again. Lol Is 1 Corinthians 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11 gender specific? Please don't invade this question this time around. 1 Corinthians 12:28 KJV:And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Ephesians 4:11 KJV:And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Romans 16:7 KJV:Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. NB: Andronicus is a male name while Junia is a female name. |

solite3:Yes. A woman can be a Pastor/Apostle without having authority over men in the church. Her duty in that office is to minister Christ Jesus and His Gospel. The office of a Pastor, Apostle, Evangelist, Teacher, Prophet is under the authority of an Elder/Bishop/General overseer. Meanwhile, an Elder/Bishop/General overseer can also play a perfect role in any of the offices above. solite3:If you say so solite3. But what about the question below Is 1 Corinthians 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11 gender specific? Please don't invade this question this time around. 1 Corinthians 12:28 KJV:And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. Ephesians 4:11 KJV:And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; |

CaveAdullam:You're free to walk away from JWs teachings @ the Kingdom Hall if what you're been taught is not practically applicable, so nobody is forcing anyone to accept the TRUTH that's yielding fine works! ![]() "Jesus GAVE" says Paul @ Ephesians 4:11 It's clear that Paul WAS referring to the building of the BODY of Christ! Ephesians 4:12 No building could stand without the foundation stones, that's what was revealed to Apostle John in the Bible book of Revelation 21:14. So Jesus had already GIVEN the foundation stones in form of TWELVE Apostles, every other arrangement is built on this FOUNDATION! That's what Apostle Paul said @ Ephesians 4:11, Jesus in another illustration referred to these Apostles as the branches attached to him who serves as the tree (vine) while God is the cultivator! {John 15:5} therefore nobody can bear any worthy fruit if not attacked to those main TWELVE branches stemming out of the TREE! John 15:6-10 Paul's statement is clear enough unless you want further clarification on Roman 16:7. What he is saying is that those mentioned became Christians and they've been working with the Apostles before he (Paul) accepted Christ! If what you people are practicing is in harmony with Jesus' arrangement, there shouldn't be any confusion amongst you due to all these Racism, Politics and Gender issues! The Jehovah's Witnesses that you are trying to condemn their interpretation are working out all the fine fruits expected of TRUE Christians amongst them! Galatians 5:22-23 So if the tree (doctrine) is not good it won't bear fine fruits. That's what Jesus said! Matthew 7:15-20 |
